Well anime like this one . for someone to enjoy it they must have some kind of intelligence or brain power to comprehend the complexity of the great series.

complexity... ha its easy to understand it. Its a load of crap. Its a whole mind game built up to make you think theres some amazing hidden message when really thats the whole game. Theres no message and now youve been fooled into believing this is some breakthrough anime with some crazy hidden meaning thats blowing your mind. Its no use really arguing cause the people whove been tricked will never listen to our reason saying we just dont get and if by chance were wrong, and im 100% sure were not, we would never admit there right.. so the best i can do is hope to sway the people who havnt seen it yet to spend the precious time given to them by god watching a number of other much better series. I will say it had a decent soundtrack...

eh... the real meaning of the whole thing from .hack//sign - the fourth chapter .hack//quarantine. Is that harald(the creator of "THE WORLD") wanted to have a child with Emma(the writer of the epitaph of twilight) but since she died and then they couldn't. He wanted to make it through the only way he could now, through AI. "The World" is supposed to give birth to the perfect AI. The world was supposed to learn from everyone of the players and collect their data from actions and stuff taken. Thats why the eight phases were made. After collecting all the information, they were supposed to become part of Aura to make her pefect. And the AI that was supposed to look over all of this was Morganna, but since Harald had made her a learning AI. She had realized her true purpose and also realized that once Aura had been born there would be no reason for her existence. So she sought to correct it in the only way she new how. By keeping in check the only thing that could stop her. But when Aura had awakened she then knew that she had to destroy Aura. Then after some chapters of the game. .hack//dusk comes into play. But that doesnt really have much to do with .hack//sign and .hack//infection-quarantine.

The was a ton of character development, almost every single damn episode. Maybe you just didnt care about the anime or characters enough and just passed it off.

Character devleopment? I don't recall seeing a lot of that. Then again I haven't watched it in a while and might have missed it.

I preferred .hack//DUSK. It was a little lighter, and I enjoyed watching Shobu make an idiot of himself pining over his sister in non-brotherly sorts of ways.

people tend to like .dust better cuz there was more action in it but i say sign was better because they had a story that was new! unlike the harem 5 girls and 1 guy romance stuff or the endless fighting stuff(naruto) this was pretty intresting in terms of creativity.. also the music from .hack//sign rocks!

Yeah I like .hack//sign's ost's and such.. I just didn't like .hack//dusk as much as sign because of the fact that it didn't fit in to good with the 2 stories before it. I mean everything in "The World" was supposed to be good again. I mean .hack//sign left it wide open with the people in coma's and such.Dusk just reopened it all again, and yeah there were some older characters and everything. But a bad part was being able to see the bracelet. Then again it was good to actually see the data drain from a different point of view.

.hack/sign and liminality are the serious suspense anime, while the legend of the twilight is a more comedic point filled with brother/sister complex. Very funny I recommend getting the anime if ur into comedy or into serious storyline.

Many of my friends who played .hack games said they suck. When i ask them to watch the anime, they all refused. I personally like the whole concept of online game world even if the game does suck.

Kinda like ragnarok online, eh... Meh. .Hack//sign was mostly about talk. The fight scenes were kinda crap, if any, since it would end in an instant. All the kid did was Weep and shout and weep some more. Boring.

I saw the first episode last night....interesting..confusing...horrible fight scenes, not worth downloading. the music was okay though.

Id much rather see YTV rerun Witch Hunter Robin..it may have been boring at times, but it had one hell of a story line!

For me, .hack//sign only became interesting when I played .hack//Infection. It makes more sense to me after I beat the game. Like the guys in the spring and delta and Theta servers, etc
