it might make you feel bad if they had sex and you didn't, or if they had sex with more people than you did, but if you get mad at them about it they're gonna get mad at you for judging them. *lol* not good for a relationship.

dude, weve been talkin for aw while. First i talked to CGY for a while, and now Dimfennas. no, masturbating is not losing your virginity. But it is a sin to Catholics! you have to have sex. im pretty sure thats basically it.

1) no, I would never say "just don't get upset!" it's hard, but you would probably have to talk about it with them. like say "I know I shouldn't be mad but I'm uncomfortable and upset that you did this with other people." etc etc. The important thing is not to make them feel like you feel they are less just because they did it. They're still the same person. They just have experience.

2) to answer the other post, masturabating does NOT mean you aren't a virgin anymore. geez. *lol*

(if that was the case, I think most people would be experienced)

I know this is probably blashpemy or something but I really don't think God gives a hoot if you masturbate or not. I honestly think some of this stuff was thought of by old men with sticks up their posteriors.

I mean you'd think they'd support masturbation. As opposed to doing it with other people.

I just can't take that seriously. and I know some catholic people will hate me for this, but the Pope is just a man. not perfect. he does his best. that's all he can do. therefore he can make mistakes. *lol*

Another thing I think is crazy about being catholic is how you can be forgiven for anything as long as you repent. There are some things that are crazy sins (like masturbating) and there are some things I'm not sure if you should ever be forgiven for (like murdering someone)

Well, am a virgin but neither proud nor ashamed... it's just that the circumstances made it so... (oh and am a boy, so that may just be typical...)
And though I am catholic too, I quite agree with your position Dimfennas (only on the question of forgiving sins I wouldn't entirely agree with you...)
Personnally, I have to find a gf yet... So I haven't thought about having sex overmuch... that would basically depend on how she feels...
