Xbox 360 or PS3

They mentioned it on Attack Of The Show, but I'm kind of skeptical about it.

I mean, if you do hack it then you have to probably be really good at it.

Xbox360 might use one of those PSP-like updates that might check for hacking/modding of systems (that's something that I think they might use).

i would have to go with ps3. ps3 just has more games that i enjoy playing, but i would get an xbox eventually for games like halo

I still go for SONY's PS3. It is far more Advanced than MS Xbox360 which still sticks to the DVD format while SONY will use tyhe new Blu-ray technology, but that's also a risky move thay made there. The looks of PS3 are quite unique compared to 360's look. And the Best of all...Backward compatibility!!!

The PS3's game lineup are large compared to 360...MGS4!

I think it will be Ps3. But that will depend on the game they'll have.

Sony have a lot of publisher, with great games (SquareEnix, Konami...), a lot of bad too I know Wink

Forthe Xbox1 Microsoft had some great games, but too much Pc oriented for me, I'll wait to see what they'll offer with the XBox 360.

At the end I'll buy the console only for the games.

I don't get this...we are comparing a system that has just been recently released against a system that has yet to be completed, yet alone priced. With over half a year before the PS3's release, it is definitely too early to tell which one is better. For all I know, the PS3 can (and probably will be) more powerful than the 360, but for now, much of what is know about the PS3 is limited, so I think people should reserve their thoughts about which one is better until the PS3 is actually released.

I have an Xbox 360 (one of the few people in my town that has one) and I admit that I'm very much enjoying it. The graphics are amazing, and its online capabilities are far more better than that on my PS2. The games aren't very innovative or award-winning, but fun nonetheless.

It all comes in due time I think. It's fun to see comments of users telling the PS3 has more games then the 360, especially when there's no owrking PS3.

For now, PS3 is nothing more then smokes and mirrors. I do expect some delays for it's launch. We're in mid-january and still no concrete news, no playable consoles have been shown to the public. Do you really expect it to launch this spring in Japan and this fall in USA ? By PS3 launch, 360 will be at it's second generation of games with a fair userbase.

Playstation 3 all the way. I think that ps3 will blow 360 out of the water with its graphics and gameplay. The ps3 would be better because it uses the new Blue-ray disc which holds up to I think 4 times more memory than DVD, which would allow for better and longer games.

Well 360 is pretty good cause when you are online with 360, you can download games and music and other great things. Also you don't have to get bored cause the online downloads with 360. 360 is selling out like crazy and most stores are understocked cause of the successful launch! You also have the DVD controler of crouse where you can turn on the system from where you are sitting. PS3 I have not hear much about it, just tons of fans yelling out "PS3 rocks, and it pwnz" We are not even sure aobut the games for PS3 due to the fact it is not out yet! Right now Microsoft X-Box 360 is doing pretty good then I expected. My vote for now X-Box 360.

Don't get me wrong, BOTH are amazing consoles but Sony just captured a lot of people ever since the psx came out, and been a supporter ever since. But gotta give Microsoft some props for giving Sony good competition. Though Sony really needs to get rid of the "Spider Man" font and atleast twink that "boomerang" controller. Just the games that will come out in the Ps3 is enough to satisfy.

Final Fantasy on a next gen? ..... Shocked

mmm ps3. i think offers a wider variety of games.square eniq would only produce games for the playstation right?i just hope the price wouldnt be to demanding
