I'm just saying that PS3 ius nothing to fear for it's price. Basically the PS3 is going to either cost the same or cheaper than the 360. I mean to beat competition you have to either match or beat the opponents prices. But I think that the PS3 will have a high price tag because it will be using 2 graphics cards, and plus they will be juicing their system up with BlueRay.

I think I'm going with the PS3, because of Blue Ray (blue ray itself will sell).

The 360 seems like ti was rushed, they showed the BETA form and promised too little and then later on they promised too much and now they have to release the 360 without most of the stuff they promised, so now they have to release the extra stuff (excelerator (made by Toshiba)) after the release date.

haha, my thoughts exactly, as lon gas it isn't made by Microsoft. The X-Box 360 said it will be launching with the new Perfect Dark game. Also, reservations on the 360 show that more people are going for the cheaper $299 version (core) rather than the $399 console

Microsoft also has schedules for released on their games. Halo 3 comes out on the day PS3 comes out. They intentionally want people to buy their hottest game instead of another console since people are on budgets.

For now, PS3. Sony controls the gaming industry at this time, although I do think Microsoft is taking a chunk of the power. I think PS2 vastly overwhelms the X-Box, and although I think the gap will be smaller this time around, I'm guessing that the PS3 will still be better.

Of course Halo 3 is going to sell, the original title sold the original xbox itself. It established a hard hearted fan base, some of the people that are so called fans don't even play the game, just say they are for the sake of saying it.

PS3 isn't going to intially sell a lot of consoles off of the shelf. It is expected. Much like the release of the PSP. They are bidding their time for people to write good reviews on it and then right when holiday seasons come out, BAM, PS3s are going to flying off of the shelves. Don't fret about it.

As far as Halo3, their graphics engine has still not been totally revampled. If you look at the so called "stunning graphics" you can tell there is nothing special about them. Because their schedule release is kind of close they are basically rushing the game. Microsoft is demanding too much and it milking the Halo series for all its worth. How long can they take this FPS?? Only time can tell. Also, it was announced that Halo was releasing a live action movie that is hoped to come out late 2007 or early 2008.

Another thing to note is that the PS3 is holding off on the game releases. If you look at the current line up you can't see that many plat former games. This basically means that they are saving up for the holiday season to unload all their games. In a sense this is a smart move on their behalf, but it also gives Microsoft a lot of time for it to release a lot of games in that time span.
