WOOOOHOOO!! I can't believe my luck!! animewaves has started doing this manga project which i've been waiting for and now Lunar is doing the anime!!
This manga/anime is almost similar to Love Hina, so i'm sure you guys(gals) will really enjoy this =)
The thing is, the manga is uncensored, Lets hope it'll be the same with the anime
sumamry -
15-year-old Akizuki Yamato went up to Tokyo alone in to go to high school expecting he could change himself. He was supposed to board at his aunt’s apartment. It was at once an apartment only for women and a public bath.
One day, his eyes were caught by a beautiful girl. Surprisingly, he knew that she lived in the next room.
Cool, I guess this anime is going to be pretty good. I'm glad Lunar is doing the anime. They aren't too slow with their projects and they seem pretty accurate. Yay!
I was never too interested in Suzuka at 1st but now I am just because you said it was uncensored... lol _________________

Heh, just read the first chapter of the manga...like yesterday. Wonder how much of the nudity they will cut out? lol.
Edit: Done watching the anime. I'm already liking the manga better. Some things just work better on paper than moving pictures. At least to me.
A few things were changed....which i can see why...but still Oh well, not like it was important to the plot...except maybe one line.. "I need to squeeze more out" or something like that was taken out of the sauna scene.
Oh well, I'll continue watching because it's still a bit enjoyable.
Seams to be a really interesting show, im going to follow this one, ofc il likly gather as much of the manga also along with Naruto, Bleach and Ichigo 100% ones hehe

Trust me, 9 times out of 10, the manga is always better. I don't know why but I wish people can make the anime just as enjoyable as the manga but they just can't do that. Anyway, I downloaded it and about to watch it now, I'll edit my message once I'm done.
EDIT: I like this anime so far. It is a bit similar to Love Hina but it's still pretty good and a bit more serious. The ending really made me smile, especially seeing the blossoming flower. Noticing a forshadow always satisfies me.
I was really surprised to see their friendship start off so early. I wasn't even expecting them to have a real conversation until abput the 3rd episode or something.

^out of all the shows that i've watched so far (which isn't too many, but i wouldn't call it few either), the only show that is at par with its manga counterpart is basilisk. unlike most manga to anime adaptations, there are so few changes in basilisk (there were a minor few in episode 9) that even the dialogue is very similar too.
and... ima post comments about suzuka too after i watch it. it doesn't interest me so far unlike shuffle! i duno, but the shoujo/romance shows this summer just don't get to me. i miss teh midori no hibi...
i liked the first episode. it was decent and much better than i thought it would be. this entertained me more than the first episode of "My Wife is a High School Student" for sure.
the op music was shiesty, along with the MV for it. the ED song was okay, kinda catchy but nothing special. The MV for it was the equivalent of a person's vision after he/she takes a hit of acid, lol.
the characters are cliche. the guy is the same old baka who can't do anything right and not good at much. the girl is the typical hard-to-get kind of girl who plays cool but has a softer side. the rest of the characters are pretty standard too... nothing extraordinary, like a lesbien (jk)
the story is very love-hina. i did not like love hina. however, the plot for suzuka is more enjoyable because it is serious, unlike the retarded humor (if you can even call it that) they feed you in love hina.
i'll keep watching this until it really starts to suck. for now, im still waiting for a shuffle! fansub

After watching episode one, (since I wasn't really interested in the manga) Suzaka seems like a typical harem since the characters are cut and dry harem stereotypes. There's the oni-chan spouting imoto-kon girl, the drunken whorish college girl, the other drunken college girl w/ glasses ...don't be deceived by the glasses.. She gets drunk after a MUNE-ful conversation and flashes the main character... plus the young aunt, and judging from the opening a few more to appear in later episodes.
As far as the story goes, as someone motioned earlier, it's pretty much Love Hina re-hashed with some major changes (for one, the main character isn't as stupid as Keitaro and the girls are not as random/zany and violent as the Love Hina gang) but as a result the show is seriously lacking in acceptable humor.
A harem anime generally succeeds based upon the humor and fanservice, and this show has yet to deliver much quality amounts of either...
(A random naked chick isn't exactly all that interesting...)
Nonetheless, the average anime fan will probably enjoy the inclusion of a watch-able plot --something that has been lacking in recent similar animes. (though ripping off Love Hina doesn't make this very difficult for the writers) Overall, this show aims at the middle and is respectively mediocre.
End Thoughts: If you really need fanservice, "He is My Master" is probably the best anime in recent memory. (The Harem/fanservice genre really hasn't had an amazing entry since DearS ended i.e. a show that you don't have to skip episodes or fast-forward). “Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan OVA” is also good, maybe not so much for the fanservice… but than again, any anime that can successfully parody Kafka’s Metamorphosis gets my props.

you could say that's because compared to love hina, suzuka is a more serious genre in terms of relationship and love. It was quite obvious if you notice that their op song, isn't as whacky as love hina in terms of the tune and lyrics. There is humour in it, but not as silly as the crazy kappa gag and etc. Overall, i guess you can say this would be an ideal romance-shoujo-shonen-(a bit of harem)-humour anime. It has a mixture of Love Hina, Final Approach and Maburaho in it.
And i prefer this sort compared to love hina, where the story only gets serious in the last few episodes.
