well, strike freedom n wing zero both got their good points
Strike Freedom = Good in mass fight, muti cannon
Wing Zero Custom = Good in one on one combat (regardless of size), Combined twins rifle bluster

I would have to agree zero isnt as effective compare to SF in terms of muti killing. but when it comes to one on one, zero does a pwnage.

one of the example would be the case of X1 Destroy in Destiny ( yea its still freedom that time n not SF, but from what i see, SF didnt get much a boast in firepower ), kira would have to aim at the weak points of Destroy, but for the case of zero, it would just have to blast its cannon at Destroy n thats the end of it ( wing zero, in Wing TV series, already got the ability to destory a colony in one hit, something similiar to SEED's Heliopolies, with its fire power upgraded in EndlessWaltz, Wing Zero Custom's firepower is unmatchable )

but since the topic here is bout 1vs1, i would be on the zero's side ( i personally does like zero's alot too, cause of its beatiful wings, and i do like Hero too, not like...*cough*Shinn*cough* )

If it is a duel,S Freedom, I Justice and Destiny will smashed and slice everyone up. Well G- Gundam is kinda of like a joke. So that is pretty much it.

i can't remember, did garroad need tifa to charge DX's satellite cannon? Yes, its satellite cannon can cause the most damage out there, but it takes too long to charge. Speed is not DX's strong point.

from what i've read, strike freedom has over 2x energy output as wing zero custom. Wing Zero Custom didn't actually explode in EW, it kind of just got shot to pieces, while both times for kira there were large explosions. I don't think you can argue heero's brain over kira's (have you SEEN him on a computer?) and physical strength doesn't matter very much while you're in a gundam (yes, if it was a fight between pilots, kira would get his sissy-ass kicked).

and to be fair, the colony wing zero destroyed at the end of the series was a joint effort... all 5 of the gundams were hitting it with all they had if memory serves, and the earth's atmosphere did it's fair share as well
and i don't think heero can shake a stick at kira in a beam saber duel either :W in terms of technique with the beam saber, might i say heero may even lose to *cough*shinn*cough* and his beam swords when he's in his SEED mode.

ok the topic is suppose to talk about the best match up of pilot and gundam. and instead of just talking about a saber fight...u gotta consider EVERY lil aspect about each gundam's capabilities.

so u think kira is pretty good on a computer huh?! i still think Heero has him beat there..i mean that's one of his specialties....hacking..he was always able to hack or dicript a code or comp. and has never failed at it!

plus the bullets on it's head, shield, capable of transforming into a jet-like aircraft, and contains the wing zero system...and may i add, basically only 3 ppl are able to handle the system in a gundam/mobile suit...and as unkown said..it anticapates ur opponents movements...if kira doesn't have the zero system in his gundam..he most definetly would lose...who even knows if he's even capable at handeling the system!...so basically he can't touch Heero...it's like foreeing the future!...the only ppl that Heero has trouble with when using the system was Zex, and he was also using the zero system!... and the system is basically wayyyy too advance for ppl with normal brain capacities.

small synopsis on Heero: "possesses twice the strength of the averge man (cough** cough** kira). extensively trained in sabotage and demolition."..when Heero needs to win, he definetly w/o a doubt will win in any battle. Like i said the man can't die. ..and physical strength does somewat matter in a gundam..if u don't have physical indurance u'll be out by a few blows...u can't just put the size and make up of an average high schooler into the cockpit in a battle!!! it's like putting some 15 year older in a jet army air plane at high altitude, low atmosphere, and spinning him and twisting him in all ways..yea that won't kill him...

Taking EVERYTHING into consideration, both wing zero's and Heero's strengths and weaknesses, i still have w/o a doubt in my mind that this match up is unstopable.

i have a wierd feeling you got those "ability levels" from the snes game...

and you're calling beam saber capabilities a "lil aspect"? what is heero going to do when strike freedom gets even relatively close to it? i don't think i need to tell you this but kira's taken out two suits in less than a second with his beam sabers, on the fly-by alone (and shinn in less than 2 seconds, and athrun in less than 15 because of their little conversation). his skill with a beam saber is more impressive than his shooting skills.

i still don't think heero's computer skills are as good as kira's... kira was a COMPUTER PROGRAMMER before he became a pilot... he went to COLLEGE (only a year older than heero at the start too), that's literally his SPECIALTY instead of hacking or decrypting, he could and did just write his own stuff.

which brings up another matter, his handy dandy BEAM SHIELD!!! *thunder in background* it can shut down all kinds of stuff, in the odd chance that he lets someone hit him.

kira isn't the "average man", he was genetically modified to be the "best" of the genetically modified (the "ultimate coordinator, as revealed by kreuze in ep 45 of seed). I'm sure if quatre could handle the zero system after a while (no offence to him, it's just that he was an overly "nice guy" without a noticible amount of mental strength, sandrock custom rocks the house :W), it shouldn't be much of a problem for kira either. heero's sexual frustration must also be building up as well (since he keeps on running away from relena), while kira got some loving from flay and possibly with lacus too (again, only a year older than heero at the start :W )

i love these pointless arguments, i know i can't change what you think but it's fun none the less, arguing for the sake of arguing that is :E i do like wing zero custom too, he's in my top 5

i already know the info from the series..and i know the specifics of the gundams by getting it from a certain manga book....it has a story that's in between the series and endless waltz. there's added information about each of the pilots and their gundams. so no the ability levels weren't from no game......that would be gay to base my info. on that.

those were the stats given to wing zero in the snes game, i never got what they meant. shenlong has 160 fight and wing zero has 150, but isn't the fighting capabilities of a gundam solely dependant on the pilot? (or the player in my case ). and what are they based on, each wooden board the gundam can break it gets one point?

i got it's height, weight, power output from mahq, i only got it's arments from wikipedia, and those aren't really opinionated (i've seem all of the stuff listed :W)

i don't think you can measure a gundam's ability levels with a single number :E

yea ur right on the whole thing about the gundams capabilities is based on the pilot controlling it. I just still think that ALL the ability levels make some contribution to one's arguement.

And the stats are also in the game?! i wouldn't know..not into that.....but watever....the info is in the book.

from what i've seen, a pilot's skill level fluxuates with his/her emotions (well, atleast they try harder when they're mad), and i don't really expect to see heero crying on relena's shoulder any time soon. his "i will... i will... i will... survive!!!" thing at the end of the series did bring a tear to me eye though

yea that scene brought a tear to my eye too ...lol. Oh, but u should read the mangas cuz Heero opens up to Relena more and almost kisses her..or he did......i dunno it's an infamous kiss..lol ..i like how he's basically her guardian angel. He survives in order to protect her.

I haven't watched the series in awhile too..but i have the whoooooooole series hehe ..so i can watch it anytime anywhere.l.ol ..well Epiyon lost in the final battle (final Victor episode) between Wing Zero (Zex vs. Heero). Member they were fighting in the colony that's headed to destroy earth?!! They fight like there's no tomorrow and then they both go for the final strike/blow and Heero basically cuts off Epiyon's arm...the one with that whip thing i think. and Zex asks "y don't u finish me?" and Heero says, "cuz Relena would be sad." ..so i hope that brought back some forgotten memmories on the series.

oh and i don't think epiyon was added with talgeece..i think the old talgeece was improved..i dunno i could be drawing a blank. But the talgeece wasa piloted by Triez @ the end while Zex has his epiyon..and in Endless Waltz talgeece wasn't combined with epiyon..it was just re newed and piloted by Zex.

dude, all this talk about the gundam series makes me want to bust out the popcorn and dedicate like week to just watching gundam episodes..lol

i remember that epic battle, i think it's coming back to me. i don't have any manga stores in my local area, and even if i did that would be a classic and i doubt i could find it

can you maybe list them in order? i'll see if i can't find them online... but if i can't find the first chapter of something i don't bother downloading any of it so it's unlikely

i read somewhere that epyon's heat rod whip was salvaged and added to tallgeese 3 in endless waltz (overshadowed by it's cool megacannon no doubt)
