hey i heard that gun x sword got licensed and i was wonder
1) is it in fact licensed
2) is there any english fansubs out there

Yes it is licensed by Geneon,they showed a preview of it at their panel at AX,Ive been looking for a sub also but cant find one.Hopfully someone will sub it.

Shinsen-subs is doing it. it's actually pretty nice. not sure about the plot yet, but the graphics are well-done. not to mention the main character's not your typical hero, so it gets a thumbs up from me.

I'm downloading this right now. The title doesn't really interest me but these are the type of anime that gets a lot of attention in the future and I would hate to waste up about 5 gigs on my PC because I decided to catch this title too late.

EDIT: Silly me, forgot to add in my opinions... Rolling Eyes

Anyway, I find this anime very enjoyable and worth a watch. It is a bit like Cowboy Bebop with Gungrave. I think sooner in the series it's going to run on a league of its own, where people would eventually stop carrying it as a Cowboy Bebop remake or something. I have high hopes for this good anime in the future.

hah, mista bean and I are sorta on the same page. When I watched this my thoughts were that this is the "new" Trigun. But then they introduced the mecha and it turned very lame. So in conclusion, Trigun + Mecha = Crap. I won’t give up on this show just yet but i don’t expect much of it either.

well i was wondering if this is turning out to be another Kannadzuki no Miko... in that series, they have a very solid story, but the mecha just practically destroyed it... (and some annoying characters)

hoping GxS didnt turn out that way though... it looks kinda promising, let's just hope the mecha wont be an annoyance or a hindrance...

it better be.. as its already out now.. n it will be bad if it juz stop any near the future ya..

trigun+cowboy bebo is for sure..
but i think as the epi continues to come out.. it will be much better then both of them...
