Amaenaideyo!! Synopsis & Reviews on Anime-Source
Well I just watched the first episode that was released on fansub. I must say that it's not really what I would call an interesting anime, but definitely an anime for those ecchi fans. Plenty of fanservice and Love Hina like similarities. One thing I guess that got to me was the total nonsense of how the main male character "powers up".
However one thing that I liked very much was the opening them and ending theme. The music was just excellent compared to some of the recent anime titles. Would anyone happen to know who sings those?
I dunno if this is a spoiler or not but just to be safe
It's kind of ridiculous how the male character get's his power from seeing Chitose (female main character) naked. Also I was just wondering if the people who fansubbed this just had to use the word "come" when he powers up? I mean is the only english translation equivalent of the japanese word "come"?

im not used to the style of animation, but it's okay, nothing to whine about. the character designs are all fine... there's no one in particular i hate right now. i do find it strange that everyone looks soo frickin young. i guess this show is for lolicon fetishists?
anyway, i liked the first episode and the story plot (altho overused) still intrigues me b/c the producers took the harem concept and put it into a new, interesting context. i mean, monks and nuns?
i see a monk version of Keitaro and a nun version of Narusegawa. Too bad there's no nun version of the infamous Naru Punch XD!!!
the OP was bleh... the ED was decent. quite catchy!
and YES the doll thing was lame... oh well, i hope the lameness lvl won't drop below that.

What the heck is this??? a ecchi guy awakes his powers from seenin a nude nun. Come on they couldve made the story better den this. Im gettin a lil tired of the ecchi-ness and this story is a lil to awkward for me. _________________

The writing wasn't really anything to get excited over, one way or another. It was just a semi-presentable amalgam of what you normally find in shows of this type. One of the weakest points was the dialogue; people just keep repeating the same simple phrases over and over again.
Where it really suffers is the direction. There's just about zero energy in the goings on. Even the dialogue could have been passable if the characters just emoted a little more physically. Which is a pity, since there appear to be some real production values behind this show.
And to answer you're question, verifyid, "come" actually is the standard accepted translation of 'kulu/kite/kimas/etc', which is what the characters were using to describe the guy's awakening. It means something around "come" or "arrive". It's one of those words that translates very flatly if you use the literal English equivalent. Also, I think it was a poor decision of the subbers part to continuously put it in quotation marks, since this made the subtitles read like a bad piece of erotica. |

I think it's a pretty funny anime. It's mostly just comedy and ecchi. It also has small action but it involves panty shots and booby peeks one way or another.
You know, in American, "come" can be used as orgasm, so......... If you watch the show then I think you'll all need to put on this face ----> _________________

Hahahaha. No, not really. Your right, those are characters from Kiddy Grade(a very good anime, recommended) but that's her signature picture, not a picture related to the post in general. _________________

Here’s a sample scene from Amenaidayo:
red-headed main girl drops her closes... as the main character’s "power” …hint hint… is awakened by the sight, the viewer is barraged with bad puns involving the verbs go, come, and awakening… I think you get the picture
There’s not much I can say about this anime.... in the hierarchy of anime it ranks only marginally higher than Girls Bravo... (btw: that’s not a compliment)
Character designs: uninspired... just the usual harem stereotypes... nothing here to separate Amenaidayo from a sea of crappy fan service anime...
The story: cliché'...a priest in training + middle/high school nuns in training = formula for an H-game
Animation: its kind of ugly by modern standards… the strangely proportioned/caricatured faces of the girls doesn’t let them express a full range of emotion (i.e. smile frown is always on… seriously, they look kind of retarded… no one smiles 24/7). Also, small details like hair are rarely animated. The overall result is characters with personalities that match the generic nature of the backgrounds.
Final consensus: this show is garbage… zero redeeming factors… |
