Anime Source's Review and Sypnosis
the first episode was released today by Hell-Fansubs... well it looks promising enough in my opinion...
There is nothing special in the OP sequence and music, yet i find the ED sequence kinda unique, and also the music was fastbeat
character-wise, well it reminded me heavily of Full Metal Alchemist... Kiiru gave me an "Edward" kind of feeling, and also Isuru reminded me of "Rose"... and also Kiiru's clothes made him looked kinda... gay (no offense intended)
Storyline is intriguing, nothing much is revealed and i was left with a lot of questions after the first episode...
so conclusion: this is another anime that I would be keeping a close eye upon...[/url] _________________ ... |

| The main character looked queer, so I skipped ahead. That guy is also the reason why I'm not really looking foward to more of this. The good thing about this is that it's not another ecchi harem show. Other than that, I don't know what to say. |

| I liked this anime but it leaves soo much questions. There is this huge past which im soo confused about cause it seems like this is a sequel to some other anime. Am I just imagining things or doesnt it seem like that is whats happening!? |

After somewhat watching the first episode:
I would recommend this series to anyone who has been watching eremanter gerad and got bored (as I did). As far as shonen anime is concerned... its not exactly at the level of the staples (bleach, naruto, gundam, or even eyeshield 21), but the waterworld derived plot is at least a bit fresher than the old "girl-transformation-into-weapon" cliché.
----------------------------------------------------------
As far as the Hell-Fansub version is concerned (it’s the one i watched =P):
The group provided an acceptable sub but the translation needed some work in the EDITING stage.
I flashed through the sub and found problems in different spots. Here are some examples of the editing errors that most viewers probably noticed and therefore, should not have been bumbled.
1> at 20:19 the main char says "hanase 放せ" which was translated as "let me go" (and later into the ridiculous and even more grammatically incorrect "lemme go") instead of the correct "let go of me"... that’s just sad. Apparently, the translator is trying to add a street-kid personality to the character when its not really being called for. his street-punk outfit is probally to blame (but I think this has more to do with the post-apocolyptic world that the character lives in than his personality). This is not similar to Lunar's translation of Bleach in which the characters slang is translated into english equivelents. For one, his slang used throughout the episode is still within the range of "acceptable speach".
2> there are a couple instances were the subtitles take up to much of the screen (i.e. at 9:25). a noob sub-group error.
3> 20:37 ...there’s a misplaced "sh_t" ... seriously, why do noob fansubers love to insert loads of random profanity? It usually doesn't make sense and isn't even in the original Japanese script.
Overall:
From the translation(and profanity) I got the impression that the translator/editor isn't strong in English(probably a middle school/high school kid or from a non-English speaking country i.e. Canada... jk) OR is excessively relying on the aid of a dictionary for translation because much of the wording he/she used was correct but used out of context. (At least he/she wasn't completely making things up... i.e. dattebayo and their "sense of humor" =P)
Will a better group will emerge?? I haven't watched the arenai so comments on their version would be greatly appreciated. =P |

Heh, I think I was kind of turned off by this anime ever since I was watching the opening sequence and thought "Ah, excellent, an attractive female main character." Then 2 minutes later..."Whyyyy is that girl speaking with a guy's voice?" |

Only a bit. It's all been done before in Blue Sub No. 6 and Brain Powered. Thanks goodness Monster, Yakitate and One Piece are still airing as few shows stand out this season besides Kamichu. _________________ [IMG:119:90:283352dc7f]http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e36/Tank252ca/HoiHoiSanPointing.gif[/img:283352dc7f]Tank252ca |

just saw ep3...
well then... i might say that this anime is getting me hooked... Still nothing in terms of storyline though, except that only Keel and Teen are the only one who knows about the Earth geography after the "Hammer of Eden" incident...
well another thing that makes me wonder is... who is the baby's father though... and what role does the satelite has in Keel and Teen's past? Many questions still yet to be answered
btw... i cant believe this series is a 13 episode anime... the pacing is just a bit slow for a 13 episode anime... _________________ ... |

| Tide Line blue reminds me of full metal alchemist... it's quite mysterious, but it'll all be ending very abruptly |

| i think that this series has a lot of potential.. with the great music and animation... but it does seem a bit slow.. we still don't know anything about their past.. they could of had a prologue or something.. but owellz.. its pretty fun to watch |

| I dont see the connection with Full metal alchemist, but I am finding the series kind of interesting, can't be 100 percent on how I feel about until they feel in the past with kiru and teen |
