Nevar!!! Muhahahh... jkz jkz... But seriously, I hope they change the name of their game series.. I mean, it's already gone up to Final Fantasy XI <-- It looks a lot weirder if those roman numerals for actually numbers [Fantasy Fantasy 11]. Like GeForce, they should fix the name up (Instead of having a GeForce 5, they created GeForce FX)... ke...ke...ke..

I heard that the combat in this game will be done in the same engine as the one you would use during exploring - perhaps something like Dark Cloud or Kingdom Hearts - and there will be platforming. I do prefer an active time battle in rpgs, but the hack and slash of platform rpgs hasn't really sunk in with me - with the exception of MMO's.

I agree i dident like Kingdom Hearts to much because it was not what i was use to. Well the game is suppost to be about a princess and another person teaming up to save her kindom or what not. I got a screensaver for it and it looks pretty cool. Square wont let us down.

FFXII was schedueled for release in feburary but was prolonged to sometime this fall. Square won't let us down, they've done a good job so far, and will continue to make games for the fans. About the roman numerals thing.........I like it!

Apparently you don't remember about the PSX RPG rush of year 1999-2000. Around time PS2 was being released, PSX got loads of RPG title released, and many of them were exceptionally good RPGs.
I'm expecting the same with PS2's RPGs, I hope it goes out with a bang and get tons of good RPGs released before it reaches its end of life.

The FMV looks great, but the only problem is the in-game graphics screenshots does not seem to use the PS3 full capability.

It's not suppose to use PS3's full capability...

Because it's a game for PS2.

I'll be posting a FFXII preview by tomorrow.

Here is what i'm going to say now:

The pictures of FFXII ingame are much better looking than the actual game in person. I"m currently playing the demo and I'm not impressed. Compared to DQ8, its very drab. However, I have hopes on the game becoming much cleaner visually by the final release. Don't you just hate Jaggies Sad

How was the demo fitted in? On a DVD by itself? I wouldn't be surprised if they have to limit the graphics quality due to the size of the media and having the media itself cheap. Anyway, I also hope that they'll have a cleaner version for the final. Maybe that's why there's a rumor that the release of FFXII will be delayed.

hmm... @ FFXI implementations

Well is it Square products and it is Final Fantasy series so is common about delayed game release because they wanted to make the best of the best graphic and try to make game look more perfects and they have lots of projects still going for the next of FF series for PS3.

They [Square Enix] did, however; promised that there won't be anymore delays.
