You are about to embark on a new career that is both challenging and rewarding. Your ability to type as fast as possible will be an important aspect of your success. A god way to help ensure this success is to make the keyboard your friend. You will spend many long hours, just you and your keuboard, in the future, afor these hours to be tolerable they have to be enjoyable. _________________ David |

Well, now I can up my listed WPM typing speed form "40+" to "60+" rather safely. I think on Typer A, I got about 56 WPM last time.
[edit]Hmm... what are you guys' hand sizes? My Span(the distance between your pinky and thumb tips with a fully-spread hand) is 9.5-10 inches, what are yours?[/edit] |

well, that theory goes out the window...
I would have thought being able to cover the entire keyboard with one hand might have something to do with typing speed. Very nice, by the way. |

Man, I know I can do so much faster, but I'm just way off today.
I'll try this again on my other computer, cause the keyboard is at the perfect height for typing. This computer I just use for downloading various things, so I don't really use it that much. _________________

OK, so I took a quick break... ate some food, smoked a cig, drank some orange juice, and took another crack at it (on the good comp).

I loved that middle part ("You will spend...") because I was seriously going at least 130 for that sentence (which is why I made a mistake there)
P.S. Kai, I go for consistency too... However, if I didn't, I'd have about 115/100. The only reason I let that other error slide was cause I was on a roll _________________

How is that rediculous? A friend of mine can type at 130 without a problem (he actually outperformed the typing teacher at school, so she was always pissed at him).
Seriously though, that's my actual speed. _________________
