| There's definetly nothing creppy about collecting doll or action figure even for a man and even if it echhi or hentai. Even if it hentai it still a doll it not like you get any sexual exicment by a doll it simply art. I dont possess any anime doll or action figure ( damn it I want that gothic asuka!!) but I got a painting of a nude women does that make me creepy? It simply that I love to possess bieutifull art. Some got dolls other have art book and some simply dont care... none of them are more creepy than the other it just different taste |

| I don't think at all, but because society dictates what is good and what is bad, then for a guy having a girly anime dolls only becomes an issue if a certain society sees this as offensive to their norms, culture and tradition. In any case people is the one who dictates, so opinions may vary. |

There's nothing wrong with guys having anime dolls. Does those model figures count as "dolls"? I have two and I think its OK. Some people must be homophobic when they see a male with dolls. _________________

| In my opinion it all depends. If a guy has them for haveing them because they like anime or just a hobby then it's fine. If they have have them for other purposes..... well depending on the purpose it could be really creepy |

No, man. You are talking about these dolls:

Though I wouldn't mind having a doll if it was alive.

Unless you're a devoted otaku, which is fine I guess, then it is not alright to have a doll. It is only ok if you're like one of those people who collect, out of boredom, as many barf-bags as they can . And even then, it'll only be ok if you make it in the guiness book of world records! |

It's funny, even the lowest level of anime fans put posters up their walls.
I view figures as simply the 3 dimensional version of a charater poster. To me, it's way better than f*gging up your own room with suffocating amount of posters. Unless you collect just too many figures and make it even more of a mess. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |

Yeah the video is scary, because it's the reality...
I'm more into buying completed figures.
I still have plastic model kit Nirvash Type-zero spec2 still sitting in my room unassembled. Gotta go buy some kit building tools. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |

Hell, my family will think I'm crazy if they discover my two figures that I'm hiding! They'll burn it in front of me! (They'll think its alright if it's gundam models).
Just a question (sorry if it goes off topic), what does your parents or friends think about your collection of figures? _________________

They think it's waste of money and generally doesn't think too well of them.
But I don't have to hide them. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |
