| Well first of all they changed the art style, so that put it down. Then they decided to change some parts of the storyline, which killed it even more for me. Basically: Ichigo 100% Manga >>>>> Ichigo 100% TV |

| They turned and interesting manga, that I was a big fan of, into an eyesore. For the most part I haven't seen many anime's that did bad after coming from a good manga, however, Ichigo 100% broke the mold. They changed some of the storyline and got rid of key parts that help people realize the relationships between each character. Overall a horrible job on something that could have been good. |

Although I don't think it did the manga any justice, I tried to watch it with an open mind... as an anime on its own, it wasn't bad... it had the usual holes here and there (which all anime have...) but it wasn't bad.
Art:
It was pretty good for most parts, but in some episodes, it's very clear that there are multiple artists, and very apparent that 1 artist is better than the other.
Plot:
Even without the comparison to the manga, it moved along too fast, hence the holes. Like someone else stated, the characters were all introduced so fast where there wasn't any significant focus on char/relationship development.
Music:
Uhh, aside from the OVA the music (IMO) was pretty umm bad... well it wasn't bad but I dislike it alot because the "Venga Bus" (?) is overplayed and I hate the Venga Boys (?). But the music they used for in-episode was pretty good...
I voted for Very-Good for it as a stand-alone anime but in respect to it being an adaptation of the original manga, I must say it was horrible.
Sidenote - although the series itself wasn't that great (in comparison to the manga), the OVAs weren't that bad... infact, I liked the OVAs very much. |

| Im really dissapointed the TV series version... It was a very big failure I think... Its completely different attitude when Im watched it than Manga's ... The quality was very bad compared to the manga.. But the OVA one was a good quality produced... Its better placed the quality into the TV series ... |

Firstly, I think that making 5 OVAs is a total waste of time - just make another season dammit. The anime was okay (the season) cuz it followed the story from the manga. The thing is, when it reached the OVAs, the standard dropped trememdously. New characters were brought in without any proper character introduction (just a few LINES described by Manaka). Those that didn't read the manga would definately be puzzled as to why there's an increase in the main cast. The series was also too short, though it's following the manga, they could at least make it more detailed. Lastly, the most recent OVA was way off. If you've watched it you'll feel the same way too i guess. Warning : Spoiler!
It's really lame to divert from the story already but to add ALIENS into the show and end it with 'oh! they're just filming a movie' is a really great turnoff.
Suggestion : Get back to the main story and finish it. There're lots of pple out there that do not have access to the manga and by watching the OVAs only, they'll percieve a very, very negative image of this great manga. Even if they didn't want to end it the way the manga did, they could end it with an alternate ending (Like Manaka ending up with ANOTHER girl than the one in the manga...)
What i'd like to see: (A bit of spoilers up ahead so read at your own risk)
A 2nd season that ends with Manaka choosing Toujou. Why Toujou? Because from what I felt when I finished reading the manga was that Toujou really, really has all her heart on Manaka and vice versa. It's just that Manaka chose Nishino beforehand and that's why he didn't/couldn't change his mind again.(I'm referring to the part where Manaka and Toujou talked in the part and it ended with both crying. That's the most moving part of the entire manga so far (for me).

Blah, the anime is nothing special especially when they took out most of development events from the manga. As others mentioned, obviously it is crap comparing to manga but if not, it is still worth watching. _________________

Ichigo 100% is for a my good series. Not so good... but in general this good. I believe that the problem is that aqui we have the tipico idiot personage surrounded by pretty girls interested in him... but this protagonist is a true idiot indeciso that the only thing that does is to still more entangle the situations that appear to him. Its drawing in genaral is the best thing than it is possible to be rescued. In summary: to regulate.
Thanks, we see ourselves soon! |

| The art in the manga is done amazingly It is my favorite, at least for romance/drama ones. The storyline and art were good so I thought the anime wuold be the same. I was way off. The anime looks like it was drawn by someone else IMO. So anime=bad, manga=good |
