|
|
I have a problem. I use ABC and my total maximum download speed never exceeds 300kb/s. If I'm downloading 1 file at 300 kb/s and then add 5 or 10 more files, the download rate for that first file will drop and the total DL speed will still be 300 kb/s. Does any one know what can be causing this?
I have ports 6881 - 6999 open. |

Well, it can't be help since, I think, your max download is only 300 Kbps which is quite a lot for me. Well, maybe you want to consider port forwarding and some configuration to your bandwidth limit which can be set in the group policy setting for the network. Search for Qos Packet Scheduler and try to change the reservable bandwidth to 0% and enable it. If the max dl speed does not go over than that, then I can say that that is your max download speed. _________________

whats your connection? 300 KB/s means you at least have 3 Mb connection, how fast can you download through http or irc? _________________ [img:387:120:36cb7a5440]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/idjota/BL.jpg[/img:36cb7a5440] |

| I can download at 1.5 mb/s off AMV.org. And have a 10mb connection so no, 300 kb/s is not my max dl speed. I'll check out the bandwith limit thing. |

I use Azureus and can get about 200K over my DSL line. I'm not familiar with ABC, but you should consider using azureus, since you can adjust your max download speed as you like, just my personal op. Azureus have more advantages than ABC
of course your upload speed has to conform on that too. |

zomg... I wish I had a 10 mbps connection... I'm using cable that offers up to 3 mbps (like I'd ever get that high...)
btw, 300 kb/s is decent... so just bare with it |
