ne1 read is yet? what do you think of it?

i thought the HBP was Voldemort....he is half-blooded. never expected it to b Snape n i thought Malfoy's target would've been Harry. o one dodgy thing though. i thought Aveda Kedavra sorta enveloped them n they'd just drop dead. how come Dumbledore got propelled over the edge of the tower?

Its probably the best HArry Potter book after the first (first ones are always a classic). Extremely exciting - sets up the finale brilliantly. You know it completely sets the stage for a killer book 7. However be warned, it is extremely sad at the end. I am a dude and I started getting water in my eyes.

HBP means Half-Blood Prince...
And you should rather read the book before getting spoilers (only my opinion though... I am so annoying...)
What I have very much liked in this one was that the school problems and the like went to a very very far background, to concentrate on the important issues...

The end was sad, but the death of Sirius had saddened me more... I mean I was kinda expecting this death since the end of volume 5.

But what I liked most was:
the fact that even between Death Eaters, there is a place for love; I don't reckon that Snape would make an Unbreakable Vow if he didn't truly like Narcissa or Draco (maybe he had a crush on Narcissa when he was young? Laughing

); and the obsessive love of Narcissa for Draco is too obvious, and IMO that love will have a greater role to play still. (would Narcissa give up her life for her son? (and that having big consequences like for Harry? I would love that to turn that way...)

And there is still the fact that Snape and Pettigrew have a life debt to Harry or to his father; Dumbledore said that it would have a role to play...

and there is this enigmatic R.A.B. ... can't wait to know who it is...
Augh! Can't wait for volume 7... Seeing all the pieces move, but not being to figure out how it will turn... Oowwww...

true, there is still that bit bout pettigrew's debt to harry. as for snape's debt to james...i don't think snape would've died...probably just become a werewolf like lupin so i dunno whether it's a life debt or whether it's passed on to offspring.
speaking or werewolves...i wonder how bill weasley will turn out. as lupin said, he was bitten n scratched by greywolf but he wasn't in his werewolf form at the time....wonder if it still makes bill a werewolf. my guess si, st mungos will want to cart bill off sumwhere n study him
hmmm...i think i read sumwhere that there'll only b 7 HP books. meaning, the nxt book will b the last...but i don't see how that'll b coz there still so many things that have been left hanging
i mean, destrying the other 4 horcruxes, including the proccess of finding them, will probably take at least 6 chapters (my opinion) unless sum1 just ups n tells harry where they r. honestly, the thickness of HBP sorta disappointed me. i was hoping for a thicker book. i hope the 7th will b thicker. i don't see how it can b any thinner that the 6th. unless on finding one of the horcruxes, sum1 kills harry, which according to the prophecy supposed to b no1 but voldemort (unless it the other way round). but then again there is that thing bout prophecies not being concrete and can b changed by circumstances.

true, there's still RAB. i forgot bout him/her. question, would this person b an auror, or a death eater turned gd? can't b an ordinary wizard/witch coz they knew that whatever they took was one of voldemort's horcruxes. or it could b a member of the order...so many questions....

hmmm...love btwn death eaters...well, they r. more or less, normal ppl. they have families, so i'm sure they love their family. but what ru saying about narcissa giving her life tos ave draco....that would b a wierd predicament...coz since draco is not a death eater, he wouldn't b able to touch harry n likewise harry mite not b able to touch draco so it'll b a stalemate.

about the unbreakable vow. mayb he made it just to convince bella that he is still a "loyal" death eater. though what i find wierd about death eaters is that the ministry knows who r the core of the death eaters, those that answered voldemorts summons in GoF n those that were supposed to b in that ring of death eaters. so with that knowledge, could't they just rock up to their houses n arrest them? like what they did after arresting lucius, the raided his house, so it's not unplottable. n i'm guessing snape's house isn't unplottable either, unless he revealed it's location to other death eaters. but if they raided every death eater's house but left snape's alone, that would raise suspicions coz at the time, the ministry would still know/think that snape is dumbledore's man.

i'm just rambling. i'd better stop...

The death of Albus Dumbledore (i hope i spell correct) is a real shock for me. I always thought that he will survive to see the death of Tom Riddle Malboro (a.k.a Lord Voldermort) Sad

Apart from that, the half prince turns out to be Prof. Snape...... I was fooled because i thought it refer to "he-who-should-not-be-named" all along.

by the way, anyone have a hint or idea on who is the one that stole the necklace before Harry and Albus Question

Well , lets completely spoil it since its mostly done - Snape kills Dumbledore, Harry will not return to Hogwarts but go back to Godrics Hollow (his parent's home) later, Harry and Ginny Weasley become an item .... U guys want more or ...

Oh but harry broke it off with her so that he may be noble and heroic and kill Voldemort - he doesnt want anyone else to get hurt because of him.

Actually at the begininning when I hadn't even touched the book I thought it might actually be Neville? Hmm but after you read the first couple of chapters it's not that surprising right?

Well Snape is the potions master and all isn't he? Oh and then about Dumbledore.. I kind of guessed that too, but I guessed he'd die in the last book as well -_-'' Dumbledore was the only person Voldermort feared right.. the protection for Harry is gone.. the next book he'll become a man - so to speak.. and I guess it'll be the epic showdown.

The length of the book wasn't so bad. To be honest, it wasn't JK Rowling's best work.. but it was still pretty good.. I think my expectations for her are really high.. but come on half the world is reading.. There's no point in dragging it our right?

I saw the hardback book at Wal-Mart and it was the last one left and I asked my mom to get it but she didn't. Now I'm pissed at her. I also agree, when I picked it up, it was still pretty thinner than the others and it was hardback. Wait hold up, I got some questions...

What's been going on with Hermonie and Ron? What was Ron's response to getting with Ginny? What was Hermonie's? How was Dulmbledor killed? Does everyone know? How is Voldermont going to make his return? So many questions... Gosh!

I thought in the fourth book there would be 7 books only. Now i doubt it. Somehow, I believe there would be more than 7. As he has 4 more horcruxes to go.

Oh, some ppl in the GameFaqs Harry Potter board said that "oMg hARRY iS ThE sEVEnTh H0rcRu><!!!11!!1!!1one!" Personally, I dont believe it. thats BS right there.
