HI all, wondering if anyone else is tired of seeing anime with incest in the story line like brother-sister complex , mother/father-child complex, cousin complex (by complex i mean loving eachother in a somewhat sensual/sexual way....) so im setting up a poll, post as you please! ME im tired of it...its soo much and its so gross...its one thing to see boobs and underwear all the time but this........I prefer the ecci!

I can't say it bothers me at all, as long as the storyline is done in the right way and not in a tacky insensitive way.
Koi Kaze for example, the brother fell in love before he knew she was his sister and in Angel Sanctuary, they were lovers in a past life who just happened to be reincarnated as siblings (same in Ceres).
I can't say I have ever seen any anime series that has a mother x son or father x daughter scenario and I don't believe they exist (except in hentai maybe and then it's not the same thing anyway).
I also don't remember any time this subject has been covered in anime in a sick and disgusting way. You have to remember these things happen in "real life" as well, it's not as though the creator has thought of something that doesn't exist.

I dont think there's that much, though the fact that that " i love my younger sister" exists disturbs me seriously, who listed that on anime-source? i freaked when I saw that series.

there is a lot of it implied...such as in he is my master. the father of izume clearly says i love my daughters the same way i love my wife....and he did mean in that way because izumi was grossed out by it as was everyone else..... and there is so much brother x sister stuff....and cousin stuff.....ick. I agree if the plot is solid and it makes it sad and tragic then kudos but i dont get why they do it if they know they are related and OTHER people who arent blood are obviously in love with them

I don't really mind about this stuff... I have sibling too and I am not sick or that kind of things... My opinion is... it's love, no one can really choose the destination... I don't care much except if it comes to rape and stuffs... Then I agree that it is sick... Confused

I actually never cared about this sort of thing, mainly cuz i have no siblings. then again, I haven't seen too many animes with this sort of thing going on.

Before anyone of you would to point your guns at me, please let me get this straight. I'm the 1st person to vote for your 1st choice. Is not like I support Incest relationship but in story wise and romances, is really interesting to put this Incest relationship into the anime.

I definitely going against Incest relationship involving Father/Daughter, Mother/Son, or some others but I definitely "support" (In a way...) those like Cousin/Cousin and Brother/Sister. Well... Angel Sanctuary and He Is My Master really is different story. However I personally thinks that the Incest in "I love my Little Sister" is really sad. Forbidden love such as Incest is definitely unacceptable however like ppl say, "Love Is Blind" I'm sorta pity those who involve in Incest Love.

I've recently read such article from Indonesia involving 2 couples who is blood related Brother Sister who fall for each an another and end up elope. The reporter interview them and they tell their story and past... kinda pitied them.

So I can't agree that I'm going against Incest nor I'm saying that I'm supporting Incest relationship... I think it is not fair to shut them off the society because of their incest relationship... thats cruel...

Well cousin thing I've gotten used to and kind of accepted since it they like making it a theme.
But other then that I don't know it depends on how they do it. Koi Kaze was intresting since they concentrated on the whol brother-sister thing without and gave a view of it. I can honestly say that I liked that anime, I do not approve of siblings doing that but it was still a good series. All others well like I said it depends on how they do it like in Ceres it wasn't as the siblings wanted each other. And I don't think I've seen a parent-child thing. Either way it depends on how they do it. Some make it intressting some just make it seem stupid an irelevant
