| Grave of the Fireflies and Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro. The Hajime no Ippo movies were also enjoyable. |

I haven't seen too much in the way of anime movies, the series tend to be more my thing. I'd agree that Mononoke, Spirited Away, and so on are all great movies.
Grave of the Fireflies - I hated it. Now, before I get flamed into oblivion for saying that, I agree that it is indeed a very very good movie. It just depressed me far too much for me to say I like it. I watch anime to be entertained, not to experience far sadder things than I will ever likely encounter in real life.
Also, the OP mentioned Once Upon A Time as one of the anime movies s/he had seen. That movie was incredibly horrible; so much so that it is my least favorite movie of any type. The story didn't really make any sense, and I had no emotion towards the main character until he made a certain decision, at which point I hated him. That movie should not be discussed in a best movie topic except to say that it is the exact opposite of what the best movie should be. So there, Once Upon a Time (also known as Windaria). Go suffer. Go suffer and DIE. |

Detective Conan movies all the way man!!!!! aka Case Closed
All the D.C. movies have been good and i can't wait for the 10th movie. Man its going to be awsome. Oh yea and I think Doraemon movies are awsome too I loved that show when I was young. The shows kind of corny now but the movies are still great |

Everything Ghibli, especially Grave of the Fireflies, Spirited Away, & Howl's Moving Castle
Beyond the Clouds
Steamboy
Bebop
End of Evangelion
GITS I & II
Akira
I've enjoyed the InuYasha movies, but wouldn't really include them in a "best" list. The 3rd movie was very good. _________________ [img:450:56:3ff33a5be6]http://www.fiveofanatic.com/pics/cccp09a.jpg[/img:3ff33a5be6]
