End of Evangelion

Yea umm, the ending of Evangelion just didnt click. Wtf happens? I've read so much stuff like the last girl was a mix of Asuka, Ayanami, and Katsuragi -.- What do you think of the ending?

i had nooooooooooo idea wtf happened at the end! i h8ed how they actually put REAL PPL in the episodes at the end....that just went over board. So since i didn't know wat the heck happened, i asked my friend who is addicted to evangelian and this is wat he said:

He told me that shinji was given 3 wishes (i dunno where he got this from). 1st he wished that every1 could be just like him so there would be no problems in the world (he was a kid tht felt sry for himself)...but that sucked....the 2nd...my friend forgot...and the 3rd he wished that everything would just start ALL over again. and so it did...from the VERY BEGINNING! Shinji was paired up with Aska (spell?) @ the end..the girl he basically disliked the most...he originally wanted that clone of his mother, but as we see..he didn't get her.....so Aska was brought bak from the dead to represent Eve..and shinji...well he represents Adam. so yea...there's the religion part right there......he wished for it to all start over again..and well...it did.

Ending blew if u ask me.

the EoE ending was supposed to bring out a clearer ending of the series than the anime ending...but im stil stumped on both counts...

i just explained the ending above!!!! .....i dunno..i just think that the ending has to do with religion and blah blah blah~!......it's just a duddy ending..lets just leave it at that..lol

yea i thought the samething u did until my friend explained to me the hidden symbolism behind it. I think it just all has to do w/ religion.

really?! they were turning in2 crosses?!....i either don't remember....or i just never saw that! i thought they were turning in2 liquidish stuff.

Yeea the ending confused the shit out of me too. I do know that orange soda stuff everyone turns into is actualy lcl(that liquid stuff, shinji had to inhale before operating the eva

o yea! u're right about that orange liquid stuff. yea the ending i think confuses every1 in some way. i'm still sticking to my version of the ending though (^^)....it actually makes some kinda sense!..lol

I have seen the end, too. But I do not remember something about three wishes. I only saw that Shinji and Asuka (a clone or mix of other people Shinji like, but not the real one) are lieing together on a shore and that they are just a part of Lilith. Shinji wished to remain in this state and then Lilith who looks like Rei dies. In the end there is only Shinji and a fake Asuka. But I quite do not understand the whole thing. It is too confusing at the end.

yea i dunno where ppl got the three wish idea either...i'm just going on wat i heard....but it makes some kinda sense!! that's y i'm sticking to it. i dunno didn't any1 bother to ask the creators or something!?..lol

I hated the ending a lot. Didn't understand a single thing about what is happening at all. Really destroyed my image of this anime
