About two thirds through the
8th
Chapter, GANTZ displays all the people that died during the
temple mission
. You
cant see the dog
in those pictures.

Well, aliens aren't displayed either... Think it only displays dead humans. The reason for this would be that gantz doesn't want people to revive the dead aliens as they get 100 points.
The reason I'm mentioning the aliens is because it seems gantz also displays dead enemies they've encountered (Tae for example).
So it would make quite sense if gantz doesn't display the dog. Now I'm just wondering why the hell gantz summons those animals (as the dog disappears, the panda appears). Maybe they can be used as cannon fodder

What I Think Is That Gantz Took The Strongest People Who Died At Shibuya And A Few Others To The Room.

Nah, he chooses the strongest... Think he goes for those who have a potential for killing many aliens (even though they don't show it at first, like Kurono)... Gantz says himself, that he has taken the strongest with him; chapter 135 page 12

Answer to the spoiler...
I think Gantz does pick out the strongest, but only to a extend. My guess is that maybe there is a certain % of all the people chosen would be consider strong while other are just random pick. |

ok, i'm not quite sure but i think the dog didn't appear when evryone was summoned for the buddha alien fight. maybe he died during the fight with the tanaka aliens. we didn't actually see him die but its highly possible that he wondered off and his head exploded, or he ran into an alien and it killed him. w/e, he's gone now, can't bring him back.  ...sob...he was so cute...sob... |

| I think maybe gantz picks a combination of people who are strong and people who have a strong sense of justice. This would make sense if you think about the checks and balances. The strong people fight and the others are just there to influence the the actual fighters and make sure they don't go crazy and take over the world. |

the dog spent his free time as a stray.. the creator says so somewhere in the manga. His master threw him out so he had to wander around till he was summoned.
Oh and i think he died by getting hit by a truck if memmory servers me right. didn't have anything to do with the aliens. |

the dog HAD to go along with Kishimoto... She was Rice's "meal"  ... in the anime they actually showed the dog dying in the buddha mission, in the manga it was obvious since only Kurono returned... if it had survived and gone for Reika i would've killed the dog myself  ... Reika and Tae are the goddesses in Gantz... i would've liked Kishimoto if she didnt choose KATOU!!!... Katou the crybaby who could get even 10 points ¬¬... i DO realize he's a good dude and all, but he isn't the type to be in gantz world, he's too soft...
