It was a full game at one time and I was just wondering if anyone else downloaded it. It's a pretty fun game for being free and all.

haha! I bought it when it first came out...thinking it would be awesome...since the original tribes was good. I was really disappointed in it though...wasn't anything special. Played it for about 2 weeks, then quit because I just had no interest in it.

yeah, i bought it too but i only played for a couple of weeks then it kinda lost its fun factor... it gets pretty tiring to jetpack all the way to the other teams base, forget about the cannon, die, jetpack back to the enemy base, kill the cannon, try to take the flag, then die and do it all over Smile

sure, that didnt happen all the time, but the maps were too big for my gamingstyle. i like more fast paced action in smaller arenas (im more of a duel player than anything, thats why i still play quakeworld Smile

)

though the game was fun it was only awhile because it wasn't really that hard.

I used to play time ago Tribes 1. Really fun stuff if you ask me!!

Specially the Anhiquilation Mod. I love the Shotgun. Its a memorable moment when you face someone in the middle of a map and both fly with the jetpacks at top speed, shooting until one is down!!
Maybe I must play again! Or maybe try the Tribes 2...

i have tribes 1 and 2, but i play tribes 1 more...it just isn't that great when compared to unreal

Tribes 2: Aerial Assault is my only connection to the series, but the game was impressive for the ps2. It is one of the best fps I have played on the ps2.

I think if the levels were smaller than it wouldn't be fun trying to play catch up to a player who has your flag. The stress would bring up while chasing but there was a slow pace because of the distance between bases. This leaves room for calculating what to do next and try to make a prediction. Some fps are too fast and yet the players don't go far.

So, where could I get a download of tribes 2?
