i don't really want be left out so i better shed some light.

i'm from Perth, australia, as some of you might know perth is the most isolated capital city in the world, which is both good and bad for different reasons.
Australias original population are the aboriginals, since about 250 years ago with all the migration government acts australia has adopted are multi cultural society comprised of most cultures from around the world.
the current prime minister is John Howard who seems to be spending more time sucking up to the american president then actually running the country.
summers are hot and dry while winters are slightly cold which sucks if you if you hate heat, australia is 70% desert which can present problems for farming which is why a lot of stuff is imported from other countries mostly america and china.
the city perth sucks itself with little to do, but does have a nice attitude among the population.

kay let me talk a little bout malaysia......i noticed dat we, malaysians r always referred as the malays....well, actually i dun think datz quite rite though coz malaysia's a multi-racial country. we have Malays, Chinese, Indian, Iban n so on. the three main races are the Malays, Chinese and Indian.

About Malays, all of them are muslims[dun think bout osama ok....malaysian muslims n middle-east r so different....i wonder why]. The land is named adter them coz this is their land. da chinese n indians r all brought in coz they wan independence from da british. i ain't gonna talk bout history now ok...so go learn more if u wan...

malaysia is a very nice country as we pratice not only our own races' culture but together with others. we ALL get holidays for festivals like Chinese New Year, Hari Raya[muslim's new year], deepavali, and so on....we have 3 main religion here, muslim, hindu/buddha, christian....other than da malays, da other races pratice other religion as well. u can sumtimes see a chinese/indian[hu r usually buddhist or christian] practicing islam. not onli dat, during chinese new yr or hari raya, u can see lotz of diff races celebrating da festival together in n open house.

dat is y i think when malaysians r known as malays r not quite rite coz we have lotz of diff races n diff cultures. dis is wat makes malaysia beautiful.

i'm an indonesian but currently live in aussie for the past 5-6 month
well i don't know much but as far as i know most indonesian consists of javanese and sundanese and one the most know and large ras in the world chinese

well the total chinese in indonesia is only 1-3% i think but most of it group in large cities in indonesia like Jakarta and there also in Surabaya, Pontianak, Medan
the chinese in jakarta itself is divided mostly in West and North Jakarta
then other

for religion as most people know most of it is islam then Protestantsand catholics then i would say is hindu and buddhist

for the historical value, Indonesia definitely have many good historical places but it haven't been properly cared so most of it is either stolen or naturally desroyed as also destroyed by human like too much garbage

then since i am a chinese-indo so most of the festival that i follow is chinese tradition but more simplified one

as you know chinese have many dialects but most chinese in jakarta speaks hokkianese there are also other but as far as i know this is the most popular in jakarta(at least i can communicate use this with many friend fo mine)

other than that mostly in tv is about islamic culture expecialy in puasa(the time where you only eat in certain time in morning and 6:00pm i think)
