I have a problem with my old computer having to play animes as well as PVs. The video isnt synchronised with the audio. My old computer has very low specs;P3 500, TNT2, SB Live. Is there any programs that will do the trick? _________________

As wrong as you have a good video card, there should be any problem. Try DivX, or Windows Media Classic. |

Well, your specification is OK to play normal video file. What OS that you use and how big is your RAM? That may affect the synchronisation of the sound and video. Also try not to run any other application when you watch your anime. I think that will help the synchronisation.
Well, I think that that also signifies that you need some upgrades in the future _________________

wel.. its a p3 and if i want to upgrade it, i have to get a new motherboard. So i guess getting a new one would be a better idea. So i sort of like want to know what i can do to like compromise between buying a new one and just not doing anything about it. _________________

i was wondering if i can do the timing myself? Is there a way i can re encode it to synchronize it, When i am playing some old animes - i mean really old ones. I find that they are not synchronized at all even on my p4 laptop. Maybe a second or 2 lagging. the subs are appearing at the right time but not the sounds.
what can i do? _________________

If it is a .avi with embedded sound, then I don't think you can. I think the only ones that can shift the sound timing is the .ogm and .mkv. For the encoding ones, I can't really say since I'm not really experienced myself. _________________

You could use VirtualDub (Audio/Interleaving in menu). |

I recently found out this as my computer is very old. I have to practically switch off anything that is running in the background so that the video and audio would be in sync. Maybe that would help too _________________

i am using window 2000 pro operating system!
further more i can open all other anime movies but only suzuka cannot open?
activ8ions, if i have codec functional error, then all other anime file cannot be opened as well! but all other anime i can open without hassle but just this anime titled suzuka! could it be that the security update that i download that give me the problem? _________________
