Raito is doing a right thing when he is calm
but when his face turned to a demon-like, he's doing the wrong thing

What Raito.. Or Kira was doing was completly wrong.. Though he killed people who deserved it at first but in the end he killed people with minor offences like stealing... and honest cops... so... yeah it was wrong what he did..

Though his initial intention was right, he was not soft-hearted when it comes to kill anyone who stops his way.

I think he is doing the right thing killing the bad people, but I guess you have to kill the "good" people if they think your doing something bad. Otherwise if they stop you who will finish your goal?

I think he have "good" intention. However, I felt that he is not doing the right thing because no matter how evil a person may be, I felt that it is just not right to take away one's life without giving them a fair trial.

Do you really believe that people should be allowed to kill others in the name of justice?
Countries using death penalty don't have a lower crime rate because of their death penalty. Usually, murderers don't want to be chatched at all (!) and even more so, most murders aren't planned but happen accidently, out of a fight or something... So death penalty doesn't lead to fewer murders. People who are terrified of the penalty, mainly are innocent. Especially if accused murderers don't get a trial and stuff. Which is the case in "Death Note".
So what Raito does, was wrong from the beginning. That he was corrupted by the utopia of a world without criminals, is understandable, but not acceptable.

his good intentions are just HIS intentions...not the whole world's intentions. this makes him a bad guy as he said before he will become the god of the new world....where everyone fears him....this proves him to be evil....

Wow it's almost a tie! But no, he's wrong. He's killed so many people and innocents have died as well. It's too extreme to think that if he kills off all the bad people that there will never be more to follow.
