yea i got the new slipknot cd *subliminal verses* , me being a slipknot sic maggot 4 life / ( best fan ever) . The new cd isnt to great i mean it is good and i understand they were trying to do somthing different but it no longer feels like slipknot , i miss the cd's like iowa and mfkr and the secopnd album , i think corey pushed slipknot over to stone sour , slipknot will always be best but this album doesn not seem like slipknot does anyone else feel the same ................. *even thugh duality roxxx*

sorry, but i can´t hold back to say, that i just hate sliptknot.
although i did not listen to many of their songs, i cannot understand why some people like them. there are bands which are both in thematically and technically far better than slipknot is.

sometimes listening to their songs isnt just what slipknot is about , its mostly about their attitude, and have u ever even taken the time to actually read there lyrics * there awesome* and well thought out and they use actually words that unless you study really hard in college u wouldnt know what they meant. many other bands just put words together make a messge and make money , slipknot actually think of their words put it together and make a meaning , most of the words are pretty inteligent, i dont see linkin park - even though i like them , metallica , limp bizkit putting words in a song to make you think. So give me your definition of a good band ............... and if u even mention limp bizkit , korn , or any of them , i will take your post as a joke

the funny thing is that you try to seperate slipknot from korn, linkin park, limp bizkit etc.. but their just in line with them. didn´t you notice that they are just posing the same way and try to make lots of money by running on mtv all day long.
it´s true that i dont know many of their lyrics but i am pretty sure that there are better beacause if it comes to lyrics, nothing beats nargaroth.
and if it´s about attitude i have to say that slipknot has not been the first to come up with a misanthropic attitude

bands i listn to are blind guardian, children of bodom, cradle of filth (some songs), crematory, darkthrone, einherjer, elvenking, finntroll, nargaroth, thyrfing and iron maiden.

number 1 -slipknot does NOT run on MTV all day
number 2 - i respect your answer back to me because i though u were a little punk rocker trying to tell me whats good but now i see you do listen to some very veery awesome music , so slipknot maybe not be your cup of tea

check slipknot out more im sure u wouldlike them
ps- do you like dir en gray or malice mizer , x japan??

well, i am not really into watching mtv or watching tv in general, but here in germany i see them quite often on music channels with a song called duality (or quality- can´t remember).
some years ago my cousin listening to both gothic and metal tried to convert me to slipknot, but i did not like them because i could not stand their ways to write songs (i dunno about newer stuff).

dunno why, but I dont like the music nor the song (if u can call it singing?!) ;D

When it comes to music I usually listen to Techno (prefer german,netherlands,swedish),dance,trance,Jpop (Utada Hikau,Dir En Grey,Morning Musume,Mini Moni,Ken Ishii,Dj Krush,T.M Revolution, Amuro Namie) and anime OST Very Happy

Favv mmusic video though: Ken Ishii - Extra (at the moment atelast, watch it, its reallly......sick,cool?)

they are the best band ever if you haven't heard of them then you can go to my site and download 2 of there songs but they wont be online until this saturday ! Very Happy
