guys, there isnt that much of a gap, however most of the girls i know are WAY into manga. my friend has something like 110 books at her house, thatsa stuff shes accumulated in the six months since she got into it. and thats not even bringing into account the stuff she and i have gotton from the library.
you have to remember also, there is a different selection of manga, most of you talk about like cowboy bebop, trigun, bleach, (like me)

i think girls are both a minority for anime and manga. but i must admit..i do see quite a lot of girls reading manga...but compared to guys? well they pale in comparison. _________________

Now this tells me that perhaps girls might be a minority in anime, but in manga the number of girls might be greater (maybe almost as much as guys...)
^Maybe we need a poll or something like that to compare this...

no trust me, as far as manga goes there are as many if not more girls into manga.
