what anime would u want as a live action?

Gantz. Right away there are some realistic character designs that can have an appropriate live counterpart. Most anime designs, say from the Shonen Jump style, are too distorted, in their own artistic way, which would have only critics to ever look for a real person who looks like these characters. Characters from Gantz never need to have a tear drop down their head to show emotion. There is a complication to the human face that many Mangaka overlook for other conventions which were designed and developed to make drawing characters easier and quicker to reach the deadlines.
Mangas like Freezia, and MPD: Detective have a realistic look to the characters as well which would translate much better into live action than most mainstream manga and anime creations. Characters in these series don't have to go to extremes to convey their emotions and therefore have a good chance of being emulated by real actors.

Go live action evangelion. It is a dream to have the special effects team from the LotR's trilogy to work on such an anime masterpiece.

Well, I am looking forward to the Neon Genesis Evangelion movie, if it ever actually solidifies. Then again, it sucks to wait for things that never end up happening Sad

there are alot of changes in live action convertions! like the changing of characters and story plot and a lot more. for instance, the eva project. The people behind LOTR will make EVA?! I mean come on!!! Harry potter is SHINJI! SYET!!!

i'm definitely opposed to seeing an anime series as a live-action flick. after all, anime is a medium that allows a different kind of creative expression that live-action movies have yet to touch. sure, cg technology has progressed, but i just find it hard to absorb a movie's environment, when i know that the set is located somewhere in a studio backlot in california. that and because i had the misfortune of watching a hong kong-made dragonball live-action movie.

Initial D !!! I think the movie that they made in HK is pretty good.

It won't spoil much of the anime i think, all the cars at least can be found in reality, It just the characters might be a problem. I think all the stuants can be done too, drifting all these..... Razz

Even though it's gory and scary, and death is inevitable. It just looks so cool and it's in a way realistic too.
