Sakura from Naruto: Why is she a main character?

main character?! hmmm. i think becuase naruto likes sakura ..
shes hav a big influenz in the story k.. Wink

Every hero needs a heroine. Useless or not, it is required in a plot. How about other movies or anime or manga? Do they not have those heroines that are useless and getting rescued all the time (sometimes this part is played by a guy).
Sakura does get stronger later but in the earlier episodes, it is interesting to have a weaker character to balance the odds. If Naruto's team has all the strong people then it would be unfair to the bad guys. Besides, she is a smart (but weak) ninja even in the earlier episodes.
Sakura is important in the story. Without her, Naruto may have less fans. I think.

Hi. I think it is because she is needed. In the story she is kind of helpful and kind of brings most of the problems and she is the brains of the team I guess. ^^;;

sakura is one of the main characters bcuz later in the series she gets much stronger and kicks ass!!! i heard that she beat one of the atkatsuki!!!

because i feel like she likes both guys and she is close to them but i have not heard much of her family,and its not the same as naruto

Later in the series she does get stronger. But in the beginning she's like Sasuke Kun in a really really annoying voice and in the beginning she can't do anything. We don't know really anything about her family even though she's a main character. We know more about kakashi then her! Though she does get a lot stronger and hopefully she can hold her own and not be so clingy when they see Sasuke again.

sakura's really cool....she develops a lot because of Sasuke, just as Tsunade did from her brother, and her bf. Plus, she's a major supporting character

Another reason she is really annoying is that she likes sauke kun so much. She doesn't even really care about naruto when he is trying his hardest to get sasuke back. Sakura wants sasuke so much it makes her look really stupid. Sasuke does like her but he won't let that get in the way he wants to kill his brother. It's really hard to explain when she talks to and is near sasuke. If you read the manga or have read the manga you would know and she still does it now in the manga.

I don't think she's much of a main character but this is the way I see it. Jiraiya obviously resembles Naruto. Orochimaru obviously resembles Sasuke (who most people should and eventually wwill hate him JERK!!!!!!!!!!!!). And finally Tsunada resembles Sakura. It's pretty much the Sannins all other again.

Naruto and Hinata all the way baby. DEUCE DEUCE!
