Full Metal Panic vs Gundam SEED

FMP. SEED is good too but the story doesn't make sense half the time, most of the characters aren't very likable (except Lacus, without her it would just be a mediocre series!)...The fights are totally ridiculous, especially once Kira starts taking out hundreds of mobile suits in 1 shot. The animation was good though, and Lacus and Cagalli = win.

FMP season 1 wasn't that great, but Fumoffu was hilarious, and 2nd Raid was a lot better, needs another season asap >.<

omg.. i casted the wrong vote.. as i was thinking whether this poll is for GS or GSD... zz

GS has good story line.. but.. there are quite a number of reused frames... compared to full metal panic.. which are all original frames. nice.

but teh FMP storyline is very confusing.. and kyosuke's reactions are very extravegant most of the time...

It is pretty hard to say which one is better,
they both are a very good series of animes, so I cannot pick one.

to tell u the truth i havent seen much gundam seed but i dont like it much. I have had enough of gundam but i really like FMP, but i guess its becuase im a guy who likes his comedy

i like fmp more because i like comedies and gundum seed is mostly NOT a comedy

I'll vouch for FMP. It has the realistic touch. The AS design are based on what country designed and created them. The characters in FMP have different personalities and has emphasis on character growth. Gundam SEED however lacks a lot. It glorifies the genocidal theme of Naturals vs Coordinators. Both types are killing each other for what, the superiority. Mecha designs in Gundam SEED are low-rate compared to the past Gundam series.

they are both good anime. but i like gundam seed more than full metal panic. the fights in gundam seed are great.

I haven't seen much Gundam. Just a little here and there on Cartoon Network. The mecha action scenes that I saw in both series were just so-so. But I find it hard to believe there would be likeable and interesting characters in Gundam like Chidori and Sousuke. It's a blast watching those two! Especially in 2nd Raid. And the humor is great in FMP.

I like both of them because of their characters and storyline. Gundam Seed's fighting scenes and story is more provocative and realistic while FMA's characters seem more believable. But both animes are good and I just can't choose one-sided choice.

both are good but if ur basing it on battles i would prob go GSEED but then FMP was very good overall.. now u got me confused on whos best! -.-

Both are good. Fmp is funnier than gundam seed though. Gundam seed gives me more adrenaline rush. Both have nice music!
