Hey, so it's not original but sue me, I love this show. Im a sucker for cuteness and htis shows got it in spades, and although it fits hte Harem genre, the girls arent just there to be romantic interests to Goro, but to somehow overcome their fears and trials as guardian angels. I found it rather neat that they not only look like their animal counterparts (they used to be pets of Goro that passed away) but their personalities reflect the same and they sometimes do not get along if for example hte dog meets the fox, the fox girl runs from her because as a fox she was hunted down by hounds. Similarly, the other girls have some rather humorous scuffles now and then. Overall, Angel Tales is not a standout show or a masterpiece, nowehre close, but it is a fun little show that doesnt overstay its welcome, and has enough substance IMO to at least warrant a watch. Maybe not a purchase, but I did put my own money down on this one and look forward to vol 2. I really think such anime provides a lighthearted and funny bit of entertainment to while away a few hours.

I didn't watch part 1 of Angel Tale's, but I did watch the 2nd part: Tenshi no Shippo Chu! and god did I hate it. It was extremely boring and some situations were ridiculous. Having the girls reincarnated but still having their animal personality is a great idea, creative. However, this calls for some cliche and unrealistic personalities.Angel Tales 2 was a bore, I really had to stop myself from sleeping. Unfortuantely, I didn't even finish the series...it was only 12 episodes.
