Well, I don't think there is no "the best" for CD-burning program. Most of the CD-burning software are quite OK and useful, but I usually recommend these few:
1) Nero Burning ROM
My favourite one for burning normal data DVD, Mp3 and music CD. It is very user-friendly and quite easy to use. The only drawback is that some copyrighted CDs can't be copied.
2) Alcohol 120%
My favourite one to burn and create images. This one is the most powerful bunch as it can copy copyrighted CD/DVD to another CD/DVD. This software, however, can't be used to burn individual data into a CD/DVD.
3) Roxio Burning Software
I have used this and found out it is very easy to be used. Recommended if you are not comfortable with Nero. _________________ Innocent Tranquility

thx again but when i tried using the Roxio Burning Software it didnt detect my dvd drive and nero only works sometimes but thanks anyway

Roxio can only detect internal IDE drives most of the time. I've tried external before and it can't be detected using Roxio. I don't know whether the newer version has fixed this bug.
