i don't think there ever was a thread about this awesome anime here.... O_o or else i never seen it

so funny... but i'd kill for the OST... anyone know where i can find a torrent for the OST?... that's decently fast??

by the way post your thoughts... i thought it was better than FLCL...better at random-ness.... b/c FLCL was just plain weird but i love Excel Saga weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

PS by the OST i really mean the karaoke version of the main theme... tho the entire OST would be good

PPS what i mean by karaoke version = no voice, only music (in case you didn't know)

Excel Saga is definitely great. I downloaded the series and watched about 3 episodes a day...any more and I would have gone insane. However, Excel Saga shouldn't be compared to FLCL, as one is a series and the other an OVA.
Excel Saga is definitely crazy, but requires one to be quite knowledgeable in a lot of different anime in order to fully understant most of the gags as most of the show jumps from one spoof to another. That isn't to say Excel Saga is merely a parody of anime, this show maks fun of everything under the Sun...and then some.
Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable series, but only if you have a stomach for absolute insanity.

Funny, that's all I can say about this series. Well, funny thing is, on the cover of the DVD sets, it actually printed "Hazzardous to your sanity"! Very Happy

The only series that deserves a messed up ending. My favourite part in the anime is the feud between the original mangaka and the director. I didn't like very much at all the two episodes dedicated strictly to animals.

I loved Excel Saga. Watched it all in one day, and I guess I really should've followed the warning and only watched a few a day. Laughing

This series is just pure insanity! Hated the last two episodes with very few gags.

OMG~!!!! i don't want 2 sound like a downer or anything..but wow!!! i saw the 1st 5 episodes...and all i can say is that it is like one of the worst series i have EVER watched! i dunno maybe the jap. version is better..i saw the english version and woa....Excel screams and screetches the ENTIRE TIME! not only that but she "talks" @ the speed of light! i have no idea wtf she's saying! not only that but the storyline is just stupid! not the good type of stupid like FLCL....i thought FLCL was wayyyyyyyyyyy better than Excel Saga. and that girl coughin up blood every 5 min. is annoying. i do like the animation though..and the beginning song was pretty good too.....ending song was annoying. but wow seriously i could barely stand the 1st episode...let alone the whole series! i think i would've enjoyed it more if i could actually hear wat Excel was saying...

sorry to all you lame-os who DOWNLOADED IT, but i actually baught a few of the dvds and i love them. haha. excel saga is one of the greates most random series of all time- BTW, check out the manga if you havnt allready. its just as funny. and buy it, dont download it. you cheap bast$%#s. haha.

This anime has an amazing and unique plot with a lot of twists just for the hell of it. It starts off as an anime about an organization taking over a city but ends up turning into a "fcuk you" to the manga artist by the anime production team, since many fans of any series always think that the manga is better than the anime.

Excel Saga. Puni Puni Poemy. The mere mention of those titles makes me laugh. I adored every second of Excel Saga. Especially the second time through, since I found so many more jokes that I missed. Of course, Excel's voice took some getting used to... but once you do its fun all the way. I especially like the two Ropponmatsu episodes, and the entire 5th DVD the best. Never forget what excel said in America...

I just like to see the parts when Excel is being energetic and acting stupid with funny face. but all the guys character look ugly so i did not enjoy it so much >.<
and this is just so randomly with all 26 episode.. i got bored of it at the middle.
i forced myself to watch to ep 21 cuz it took me like total of 200 hours(?) to download it. (Bitlord can only say 99:99:99 hrs, but it took way more than that) and then i just couldn't take it anymore so i watched ep 26 and it was still.... *yawn* so i just delete the whole thing. -_-
