| i'm really old school, id have to say iv (2 in us) and vi(3) was the best. 2 had the best ending by far and then 3 came along... the storyline was more in depth and revolved around the characters more... plus all the characters u can get. The ninja was my fav! |

| I've played VI-X but the ones I prefer are VI and VII. FFVI has a deep story and was very good, however I prefer Sephiroth over Kekfa. FFVII was my first RPG so it's nostalgic. BTW here's a link to the REAL story of FFVII http://www.angelfire.com/yt2/zforce6455/lit/ff7.html. It's a pretty good theory FFVII fans should read it |

The best FF Series (in order)
1. Final Fantasy VII (PSX)
2. Final Fantasy Tactics (PSX)
3. Final Fantasy X & X-2 (PS2)
4. Final Fantasy VI (PSX comes as FF Anthology & SNES- FF III in US)
5. Final FAntasy IX (PSX)
The worst:
I hate to say it but for me it's FF VIII |

Final Fantasy 7 is definatly the best. The others always seemed to go for eye candy first _________________ LOVE AND PEACE!

| I liked IX the best. VIII was definitely the worst...stupid Junction system. Anyways the Final Fantasy series is getting too easy. |

Well, I agree lilanimekid that FF series are getting easier to complete, but I think it's still a challenge to complete the game 100% (Defeat super boss, complete all weapons, all mini-games solved, etc). |

FF7 was awesome... *sniff* Poor Aeris.
FF6 would be my second but I haven't beaten it yet.
FF9 is my second (third). |

yoshimi: either you're very young or new to gaming...
i've played just about all of the FF games but never beaten a single one, hahaha
my cousin has my copy of FF7... well, i think he has one disc... he lost the others, i think. (=
VII was pretty much the first psx game i ever played... that and medal of honour (the first one)
of course my roots are in ye olde systems... friends of ours had some generic system and when my bro and i got an NES... wow, we were popular |

Only FF series I've ever finished is FFIX. No one really talks much about it though. FFVII, a lot chooses it over others... Well, I think the game play and story line is very good. Though I think the graphics (being the first to start the rest of the FF series) is bad, it's good being the first to boost off FF game style. I'm currently playing FF2 and all again on emulators, trying to finish them all, so I can say I finish more FF series than just one... pretty sad. I'm also playing FFX-2, which is very seldom. FF VII, Final Boss, and too lazy to fight it... FF X, 3rd to last boss, too lazy to fight... (it might actually be 4th)... I've been doing that too much with my FF games, and it bothers me, cause I really do want to see the final clips to the games. How troublesome . So, Game play wise, I love FFVII... the details in graphics wise, I think so far, I'll pick FF IX (haven't played FF VIII), and well, FF X consist of more romance than any other FF games I've ever played. It's just so obvious rather than others (I heard FF VIII is quite that way too in a way; again, haven't played that game yet)... |

| Best Final Fantasy ever is FF:Tactics. Its the only Final Fantasy where I actualy enjoyed the gameplay. Yes, it was roughly translated and the story jumped around alot, but character development was top notch and and it didn't require overblown cut scenes to keep you playing the game. After that, I would say my second favorite is FF:VII then probably VI/III. But both of those games just involve me spamming the attack button through normal fight s and the combat isn't fun unless you are fighting a boss. |

I have a question for all of you FF VIII haters
is it the junction system that turned you all away from it? |
