i played FF7, 9,10 international and 10-2.. i juz can't wait for 12.. my best FF is 10 international 'cause all my charcters r so reli reli strong, especially Tidus.. WOO-HOO he rox.. FF7 is 1 of my favourite FF game either, Cloud rox.. i find that FF9 is a total failure game, it doesn't reli have limit break, juz Trance all the way, summoning Aeon is 1 big problem either although the graphics r better than FF7..

My favourite's are FFVII and FFIII/FFVI (same game). Both of those games are made incredible, have a great storyline and a great gameplay. Some of the later games are either underrated or overrated, for example FFVIII is thought to be too sappy, which it isn't. And FFX-2 is thought by some just to be a girls game (because main characters are 3 girls) which is a total lie. All FF's are equal in graphics for their time, as well as gameplay, the onlything that should make a difference when comparing FF's would have to be storyline.

Hmmm...I dont know, I liked the FF series...but FFVII kinda pissed me off...not really because of the graphics, gameplay, or storyline, but because it glitched on me . I was trying to get the blue materia....and it disappeared on me....so i cant get Bahumut Zero...and during battles...it would sometimes glitch on me and skip my turn, like the bar would fill up and i would get to attack...but it just skips my turn, one time it skipped my turn 4 times in a row...on a boss! So yeah, the FF series are overall great, but none are my favs. I like Legends of Dragoon over FFVII, even though its not an FF series or by Square, but I so far like that game better then any of the FF series so far. I am however waiting for the sequels to FFVII to come out. Two games are coming out, one for the PS2 and another for the PSP ^^. The movie is coming out as well and im anxiously waiting for it ^^. Sorry if i posted something a bit off the subject ^^;;
y does everyone think taht ff7 is the best? itz good itz good, but i still like ff8 the best! 9 was okay, but i think it was thw worst outta them all, 10 is good rely good, and x-2 was okay, tho 10 was still better
i would have to disagree with ff7 being the best. although the story was good, i felt that the battle system was kinda boring and that's where most of the playing time is spent.
my favorite would be ff10 because it had a great story and got rid of that annoying real-time battle system. in my opinion, this makes the game more fun because you can take the time to plan and strategize, which is difficult to do in real-time.

FF VII seems very popular and over rated. Never played VI and 8's story went down the drain as soon as they found out they were all in the same orphanage. Worst plot twist in FF...EVER. No one's said anything about 9 though the characters were probably the best and easiest to connect to. More personality than Cloud and Squall. X was good, good story and battles kept u from fallin asleep coz u actually had to think about who u were usin. FF tactics is the best, though.

My friends who played FF9 all thinks it suck but not me. They don't like the "cute little" characters and prefer FF8 although the story is short. I personally enjoy FF9 and like to modify the codes to let the characters use magic spells or attack that they couldn't use before (gameshark codes). To me, the best FF game should be the gameboy advance FF Tactics Advance. _________________ What's yours is mine, what's mine is still mine.

If you haven't heard, Final Fantasy XII's story is going to be like Final Fantasy Tactics's story for the Gameboy Advance, except the characters and battle system will be different. The Final Fantasy XII story begins when a young girl named Penelo, who, it was said, strongly desires peace in war-torn Ivalice. These scenes of the two characters were intercut in such a way as to suggest that Vaan and Penelo will be friends at the outset of the storyline. Then a stern, older warrior named Basch, who, according to the titles, was once a respected knight of the kingdom but has since become a reviled traitor.
A roguish character described as a "sky pirate" and named Balthier was revealed next, along with his partner, the female weapons master Fran (who is a member of the Vierra race that fans of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance should be well acquainted with). Interestingly, the princess Ashe, who has been seen in previous artwork and footage, was revealed last, and the trailer made it appear as though Ashe will be set apart from the other characters at the outset of the game. The famous judges of the Tactics series were also referred to in hushed, fearful tones after the character introductions, lending an ominous atmosphere to the scenes in the trailer.
Its very confusing when you read it, but if you play the Final Fantasy Tactics (Gameboy Advance) things should be clear. Its going to be released at around Spring or Summer 2005. I can't wait till it comes out!
