| I didn't like VII at all...I think it's way over-rated (probably because the graphics were great for that time and it was the first 3D FF game..I think) and too long of a game...plus...the story didn't really grab me. I still like FFIII (in the US) the best, because the story was great and I really got pulled into it. |

Whew! I just got finished ranting about this... so I'll just copy and paste my thoughts, sry...
Not to start a war, IMHO, Final Fantasy VI was by far the best. The characters were so memorial ("How goes the robbing and plundering trade, theif?" "!!! I prefer to be called a TREASURE HUNTER!!!") and there was no "right" party to use. You could, after a certain point in the game, save all or none of your characters, thus allowing a great amount of exploring and variations! I believe there were 15 playable characters if memory serves right, and they were all fleshed out as well as Cloud, Tifa, and Yuffie were, and thats not even including the enemies! Kefka, General Leo, even the two grunts of Kefka had a personality! (Kefka: Why does stupid king Edgar's Castle lie out in the stupid desert? (looks down) There are sand on my shoes! ( looks at two guards) I SAID, there are SAND on my SHOES! (both guards panic, and quickly clean his shoes, then salute.))
Sorry if i went a little overboard, but this is a great game, second to none. There are stroy points that even I forgot after playing the game 12 times though with no less than 99 hours on the timer! Either this game is deep, or I'm very forgetful... and I'm pretty sure its both.
Sorry to go off on a rant, though, just trying to prove a point.
Yeah, I liked it. What of it? You wanna fight? Me neither! (runs away) |

Oh yeah I forgot about the FF spinoffs. Well FFTA is a pretty good game overall, its even better if you play it before you play FFT. And there's Final Fantasy Adventure if you count that, I love that game. I'm sure you all just adore Final Fantasy Mystic Quest:) _________________ Fear the dreaded Ninja Centerfold!

| My favorite for a time was VII but then X came into my world now I don't know which I like better. The one I hated the most was VIII, I just can't stand seeing the main character dance around. |

FF8 was definitely the worst.
FF7, in my opinion had the best storyline. I think I like it the best because it was one of my first RPGs. I'm very fond of games I played as a youngin. _________________ Ask me a question, and I will answer to you with my fists of fury!1!1!!1!!!! |

The original Final Fantasy was on my list... but mom helped me a lot ith that one
BTW... you all realize that YokoKurama was joinkg about FF; Mystic Quest... right?
...right? It was the Superman 64 of the Final Fantasy series, IMHO. |

13 years ago I was six and playing games too , however I have the best memories with SNES and N64 games. That's when games were in their prime. _________________ Ask me a question, and I will answer to you with my fists of fury!1!1!!1!!!! |

The first Final Fantasy game I ever played was actually Final Fantasy Legends for the original gameboy. Its a little known game that actually didn't start out as a FF game, but was renamed because they thought it would fit. Its actually really fun and it was really challenging. I was only able to beat it once because it was so friggin hard. LOL
I also liked FF 9. I don't know why, but, probably because it was all nostalgic for me. I mean, it was basically a cool update of FF1. The world map was even the same and the main bad guy was...Garland! Yay! I also liked FFVI. I suppose I am a fan of the FF games where the main character isn't a huge sword wielding moron. |
