Awful English Dubs

once again ppl judge the english dubs in a negative way. u guys shouldn't say things like "dubs are just gay" when we're spoiled enough to recieve them in english.

besides i know of voice actors that work really hard on many animes...working over 3 hrs. on one 30 sec. scene and losing their voices over it~! many voice actors put in a lot of effort, and to judge them like many ppl do just doesn't seem right to me.

we take dubs for granted..and i personally enjoy them....so to say dubs suck in general is just ur own neg. opinion don't drag others down with u when u say they all are horrible plz~!

I like my anime both dubbed and subbed, in fact 90% of the time i'll watch a series dubbed to hear the story in english, and then watch it in subbed that way if i'm doing something while watching I will still know whats going on. Maby thats just me, but I think dubbed is decent, but I do agree, Naruto and one piece have terrible dubs Confused

and they are in my 10% that I just watch subbed Very Happy

awesome anime
but when it done in english it lost alot of flair with the characters
but i think that has probally more to do with the fact i saw the japanese version first.
Cowboy Bebop made by the same people, i enjoyed in english alot
didnt have a single problem with the dub.
I guess my biggest beef with Champloo is with Mugen's Voice
it was just soo distinctive in japanese and with the Voice over into english he just sounded so, for lack of a better word, white

Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Trigun, and FMA were the only good ones everything else was crap.

The Dubs just seem like the voice is all monotonous and even during the most exciting part of the series, their voices are like no emotion at all.

I would have to say Naruto because of its poorly done voice acting that makes the characters sound like there mono-toned. Also I'm tired of hearing Naruto saying "belevie it!" over and over again.

I accidentally crushed one of my buttons when writing,it was suposed to say Evangelion.Not all english dubs suck,but thats because here in sweden is alot of english tv-shows,so im used to english speech.

Golden Boy. It's the worst ever. You can say this anime wasn't up to par, or that anime just wasn't good enough, Golden Boy is like listening to fire truck's siren while your trying to swim. (yeah, that was random) It's terrible, it, it's just terrible.
