hikaru no go is one of the best anime i ever saw. the show made go so much more intresting then it real is.

| hikaru no go is pretty good and it is the one of the first anime that got me hooked. anyone know where to find direct dls for this anime? i'm tired of going over to a friend's house to watch it. |

sorry don't know where u can find the dl~!
anyways i just started watching hikaru no go....i wanted to c for myself y everyone thought that an anime about playing a board game could be so intriguing and interesting~! to my surprise it was fairly good...it def. catches my curiousity. i'll have to wait awhile to buy the next dvd (vol.2) however, but i am looking forward to watching more of this series.

| Eh... I'm not too sure about watching it. I get bored pretty easily right now though, so I might spend the time to read/watch it. Is it really only about a kid playing go (with the help of the ghost) though? Like what are some other plot lines that occur? |

This was actually the first anime I saw. I loved the beginning, but toward the end it began to drag. Still, it got me into watching anime so I don't have too much to gripe about.  |

I watched the show and, as a result, played the game for a bit.
I still play, but I know I'm never going to be any good at it.
Two of my friends are 3-Dan, one reached that level in 7th grade, the other reached it in sophomore year of high school.
