if Cloud and Link were to do battle who would win?

last nite i was up thinking about RPG games...then it hit me(Yeowch)wat if there were a death match between two characters...So i choose Cloud and Link(cuzz they're from my fave games)well i personally think cloud would win if he does lose to link Red-X will naw on his bones...well gotta go l8r pplz Twisted Evil

Well, this is a tough decision really. When you think about it, all Cloud has is magic and a sword, while Link has magic, swords, boomerangs, arrows, shields, and fairies. I think Link would win, especially if all they had to fight with was natural stuff because most of Clouds attacks revolve around magic while Link is more of a natural fighter.

Hmm well I think it could go either way, after all Cloud could use magic that increase his battle abilites, haste/wall and speed plus materia as well as summons and healing/regen magic not to mention his limit breaks. He could use mini/frog or slow/stop on Link and it depends on which swords/armor they go into battle with as well since both have diffrent arnaments. Alot depends on what materia Cloud brings to the battle and the slots on his weapons/armor. If for exampe he has linked final attack with phoenix or revive then he would just get back up after getting beaten just as link would if he has his fairies. Also on the items Cloud would carry since there are more items in FF then Zelda. Then again he might just link final attack to Knights of the Round then it would most likly end in a draw.
If we talk plain sword fight I'd like to see Link stop Clouds Buster Sword with his Master Sword but then again that's what the shield is for if it can hold.

What not noticing that I belive that Cloud would win, but I don't think he'll K.O Link without breaking a sweat and maybe Cloud would slip on a banan peel and hit his head on his Buster Sword.
Oh forgot Firetears we could alwasy see how he fights in Advent Children since it seems as if he won't be using magic at all in the movie.

Me and some friends go to a computer oriented school, and we have to do a project for our senior year that represents all of the thing that we have learned in our stay. Well, we brainstormed, and the first idea was to do a movie about Legend of Zelda OoT. Pretty much this was going to overview the game and be bout 10 mins long. However, we came up with the idea to have Cloud and Link spoof fight. We haven't completed the entire script yet, so we don't have a winner. But it will all come down to preference. I think Cloud would win simply because he's cooler. But a lot of things come into play. Cloud and link both have a limited amount of magic, they have various weapons and item to help them, plus whose turf it would be on, and if they could recieve help from their allies. I think Cloud has an advantage, but the fight could go either way. I think we might have the fight end in a draw tho.

I think that it would be a tie Very Happy

because link is faster because cloud has a bigger sword.but cloud is stronger. link has more things though like arowws so he can shot from far away. he can throw bomes.but his magic does not go that far.but cloud magic goes farther.and can sommon sorry if i spelled wrong.oh and the only magic that link shoot far is his fire,ice,light arowws.

I say cloud has the advantage, mainly due to the potential that he and the materia have when paired up properly. After all, there's a hell of a lot of materia, and a hell of a lot of combinations you can string together. Link can only do so much, and most of his attacks are physical which can be softened with Protect/ shell (I forget which does what now) and cure 3 and/or regen.

Link's just lucky that Cloud isn't from FF8, otherwise, cloud can just equip the ultima spell to his magic defence and link is limited to physical attacks due to the spells either being neutralized or absorbed and converted to HP. At that point, cloud can simply cast protect/shell and regen with periodic curaga and Link's toast.

Btw, i hate link unless we're refering to super smash bros., even tho i still suck at that game.
