if Cloud and Link were to do battle who would win?

you cant compare Link to Cloud for godness sake Cloud has all sorts of items and if Link wanted he could just use that imortal spell of his and bring about 4 bottles with faries shoot som fucking arows and do the spin attack,and cloud has so many spells that give him power in all ways so so everybody who says that cloud would win is only because THEY ARE FF8 DUDES WHO DOSENT LIKE THE ZELDA SERRIES AND JUST CANT IMAGINE THEIR FAVORITE CHARACTER GET BEATEN,well yeah im a big of the Zelda serries and i dont like Cloud but that dosent mean i think Link would beat the crap out of Cloud

Although imma legend of zelda fanboy i have to say cloud will win cause while link has his large variety of weapons Cloud killed sepheroth who was going to blow up the friggin earth you just can't compare with that and all Ganon did is try to take over a kingdom.
basically its just cause Final Fantasy likes flashy stuff.

Link b/c he's a lefty and Cloud has a secret weakness that only lefties can exploit.

Well if cloud is weak against lefties then then squaresoft will make it so he wears some kinda ... anit left-ing materia armor ..... and a sword that is very... big and .... magical and it will run on the souls of children including gary colemen but excluding miny me.

Fairies or not, Knights of the Round is such complete overkill that Link would be dead. After all, since it'd probably only take about two hit to kill him from KotR, the fairies would run out quickly enough...

I think if Link got all his buddies from the four swords he could out number Cloud and eventaully get to him, I mean basically if Link could get all of his alter egos then he might actually win.

Exactly.

You can't compare the two, because as Cloud happens to be from an RPG, he ha enough "big ouchy" abilities that Link has no chance.

I think a much more equal match would be original Link versus original Cloud. Both of them are kind of inexperienced at the beginning of their game(s, in Link's case).

If they fought one on one without using spells and only sword combat, I think that Link would win. Link has had more fightin experience

Cloud is more of a freestyle swordsman. He can also fight while he's on a motorcycle. Link can't win.
