if Cloud and Link were to do battle who would win?

cloud for sure, with his crazy limit moves, there's no possible way link can stop him

Link would win! For one thing, he has much more versatility. Cloud may have magic, but we all know he's not the character to use if you want magic. He's only good cuz he has a big sword. Besides, Link's mirror shield would reflect any magic. That and you really have to consider which Link we're talking about here...there've only been, what? 8 Links now? at least? I'd consider them both master swordsmen, but Link has a much larger array of abilities.

Link, because he can stop any attack dead with his Nayru's love. Plus, light arrows kill enemies in one hit, ha. And if link really needs to, he can change into a giant using the giant's mask from Majora Mask. Or, he can drink a wiff of that Chateau stuff to give him unlimited magic, use Nayru's love forever, turn into a giant and whatever else, no one can stop link.

Cloud for sure, the guy has mako and Jenova cells in him, which enhances his physical strength, speed, reflexes, etc. He can use materia which can pretty much give him any ability he doesn't already have, like control the elements of nature, summon powerful creatures.

There is no competition between link and cloud cause cloude would beet the ever living tar out of link, I mean what's up with the whole flute thing is link gay or something?

Cloud would win. If we're going with both characters having every weapon, well, Cloud's pure number off spells would let him win. With Materia such as Destruct (could destory any of Links barriers), Full Cure, Barrier, Shield, Exit (Remove Link from battle and place him into the abyss...XD), Knights of the Round, Bahumat Zero and more.

Now without any magic, just Cloud with his sword and Link with Sword and Shield, I have to go with Cloud. Link, in his many games, JUST recieves his sword at the start and has no prior training. Cloud, on the other hand, has a few years of training. Nothing amazing, but more then Link. I mean... Link has a spin attack... Seriously, an attack like that would get him stabbed right in the face.

Well, that's my view. Man, these Cloud vs. Link threads are on pretty much every forum.

link will win for sure!!! i supply him with a million "empty bottles" so he could fill em up with fairies!! i would think link would win for sure~! fire/ice/light arrows and everything! not to mention him having the biggorron sword.
