This show takes off with an interesting concept of having a girl disintegrated by a sentient light then having the light assimilate her. The resultant mix appears to be a confusing personality switching from one to another seamlessly. I'm speculating that one of the plot devices might involve the new sentient questioning whether she is Rynax or Kurau or something else.

Then there's the drama element by having the family tensions between the new 'Kurau' and her father, Professor Amami. Poor Prof Amami who's having a hard time trying to believe that his daughter is back as well as perhaps having self blame for the incident and a rejection of the fact that he has no idea of what happened or what he can do to solve it.

The action sequences are nice with the interesting moves that Kurau with her light powers can pull off.

Sounds like it could've been a good story for a novel. Wish I thought of it . . .

Well, I just saw ep 1 and it looks like it could be really good. I didnt see any problems with the artwork or the voice-acting, everything seemed to fit nicely. The bit that didnt settle very well with me was the futurisitc flying cars and everything else like that, but I have no idea, the designs for them were cool, but i dunno, it just seemed slightly out of place and reminded me a lot of 5th element.

I will definatley keep a close eye on this series in the future, as it could become great - but I have seen too many anime's where the budget is sunk into a captivating 1st ep, and then the rest of the series kinda stagnates. But we will just have to wait and see i guess Smile

I have to say after watching the first episode I can’t wait to see the next one. The first episode really got me into wanting to watch more of it. Thank god because I have been watching some really boring animes lately. I am hope what Smeggy said won’t come true but then again you never know. But as of the first episode loving it so far! ^_^

Yeah... episode 1 was very enticing. And the show's harkening back to a style I haven't seen in a little while, which I think I'm going to enjoy.

Anime-Haven took down their torrents for episode 1 and 2 and won't be subbing them anymore.

Just saw episode two...
Christmas…I have to say that is just plain funny. I notice things get explained very quickly in the anime. Most shows would have dragged on about why Kurau left her father or how he lost his arm. I liked the second episode, I am still wondering what they are and where they came from. The whole girl, girl love thing makes me think of Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito but that was far more Ecchi. I wonder if they will release episode 3 what with it being licensed and all. Well heres hoping. Hehehe…Chrismas…

well its seems Sora, whoever that is, is subing this, i seen epp 3, it seems ok...the link on BT Releases is dead for some reason, but go to thier irc at rison #Sora and u can get link to thier page to dl thier epp 3, i guess they will continue subbing it...hope this helps those who started the series and wanna keep watching.
