The iPod Craze...

Should this be moved to entertainment or ???

Any ways, do any of you guys own an iPod, adore your iPod, want to marry your iPod or have this overwhelming obsession? Haha.. I know it's spreading.

I want to get one soon.. but I can't decide if it's that much better than a mp3 (which would be about $100 cheaper). Is it very durable? Does the battery die after a while? What's your experience with it? Is it overhyped?

well I'm going to switch bank accounts so I can get an iPod... but my other mp3 player is just fine... it all plays m00sic and that's all I really care about

I have an iPod and it works well. easy to use, really durable (i drop it everywhere), and I haven't had any problems with the battery. I know someone that got some huge iPod look-alike...it broke in a few weeks Laughing

lolz iPods? as 4 me...im 2 poor 2 afford 1...and i got sum kinda unknown brand dat works almost as well for only 100$~ (only 256 megs tho...T_T)

iPods are brilliant - I just can't seem to find enuff good songs to fill it up - yes i am obsessed over it - MIne - My precioussss

IPODS are indeed expensive...I think a cheaper Mp3 will do fine. why would anyone need 20 gigabytes of memory?

Works as a hard drive as well, so you can store all those anime episodes that are on your computer. Ahhhh... the iPod. =)

you know to those thinking or want an ipod should wait for various reasons.

1. Do you really need one gig of space?
2. It's pretty expensive.
3. I have a creative MP3 player and an ipod, i use my MP3 more because it has a couple of more settings such as the radio and recorder and It's smaller, also it looks better

5. An ipod can have more things in it, but those bastards that made it, just upgrades the ipod(multi-colours, cases, mini, shuffle, etc.) to get more money-damn the corporate scams.

I do not own an iPOD due to the fact that I already have a portable music player Very Happy

, but I'd love to have one because they carry alot of songs HOWEVER I don't listen to music much .__.

Right now if you switch your bank accounts to TD Canada Trust, they will give you a free Ipod.

I am a customer for years and they wouldn't give me anything =(

Yes but it's not all songs that I want to store anyways =P Well, as long as it's durable.. I think I'll probably get one.

The Dailyhaha thing was funny tho.. so true.

Ahh and yea I know about Canada Trust. Promotion is ending on the 12th though. I've had an account there for eight years.. and I get nothing Sad

but seriously, who would want an iPod shuffle? It doesn't even have a display screen and you could probably get a mp3 that stores just as much.

ipod mini for me..since I have one it uses flash so you can throw it aganist a brick wall(which I've done at my old school repeatively) and it will still work as long as the flash card is intact. I got mine for $40, someone try to beat that price for an Ipod, although I do like my MD(mini disc player) it is nostoalgic of the 80s, useing a cassette.
