spirited away soundtrack? worth buying?

Yes! Definetly! The music is pretty much an orchestra playing( no drums, no guitars, nothing like that) and the last song has a woman singing a simple little tune, and I think it is gorgeous! You can buy it from animecastle.com for $9.99. You can buy either the American OST or Japanese OST, but the American one is $13.99. I recommend that you get the Japanese one.

I also think its a very beautiful soundtrack. I love the ending theme.

try downloading it first to see for yourself! If you don't believe in that whole music piracy thing you can always delete it off of there and buy it later right?

Yes the music is great! I got the 2 CD combo of Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away at Fry's for like 15 bucks...great buy! Personally I find Princess Mononoke's music more pleasing to my ears, I dunno why but Spirited Away involves much more on piano than orchestral. Either way the soundtrack is great!
