Do u believe in Life after Death?

i find the terms heaven and hell to be really depressing. the bad go down and the good go up. why cant we all stay in one place.

I don't really know, of course, but I sometimes wonder if we just kind of... become one with the universe. Like, we meld with the earth or something of that nature.

Your forgetting the fact that everything ISNT balanced. The worlds population isn't standing still. We're actually gaining cause not enough people are dying (which is a good thing). So if you think we're limited to the amount of souls, then we've depleted the amount.

Now if you say theres more souls than the earths' growing population, then that means they need a place to wait. Either on earth or on a different realm (Not likely). And if you say they're on earth, wheres the proof of their existance. I don't think souls can think. It's the human mind that makes us move and think.

this life after death spawn from the egyptian religion and probably spread on and found its way to hinduism of the caste system where you are reborn with the same soul but into another being that is decided from your actions in the previous life, so if you dont have a religion than, i guess you dont believe in this and so do i

well if you say the human mind makes us move and think. then we are just like robots?? don't we control the mind and tell it what to do?? i thought we had control over our bodies not the mind controlling us. but if you think about it how do we control our mind? so there's gotta be something else we dont' know.
