For me yes, I believe in an afterlife. Not necessarily that we come back to earth and do it all over again(not that doesn't have some upsides to it) but I guess I mean heaven where all the misery is gone and you can be truly happy. _________________ Live to be the best, to be the best - be yourself.

well, here we have to options...
1. you die, ou being memories, evrything you have mentally aqurred in your life is forgotten, as your body functions begin to shut dow. thus, you are put in etarnal dakrness.
now....
1a. you spend the rest of your life in darkness, staring atthe top of your eyelids.....
1b. it all ends. WHAM! no more, thinking, its all gone....
or....
[b]2. you are either put in a new body, all your memories/knowledge being forgotton so fast, it is not done completely, thus explaining why some people sometimes see/remember parts of a "past life."
why?
well, humans can see pretty much anything they wish to. but they cant remember something they never knew in the first place. that is why, for example, you cant remember what your how your organs were moving last night while you were dreaming.

simple, there is the part of the brain that handles bodily tasks, and the part of your brain that you can access at any time for things like memories. these two are almost always separate, except at times, when the part that remembers things creates a "feeling" (such as sadness) that weakens the bond between the two parts of your brain. example. you get so "sad", the part that handles bodily functions takes over, and creates tears. this may seem normal, but when you think about it, it is very scary.

it means that at any time, the bond may be weakened enough sothat the part of your body that handles its functions can take over, and do something so severe, it might kill you.
now the part where it all comes together.

Life after death doesn't necessarily mean Heaven/Hell or reincarnation. Their are other religions like Greek, Norse, etc.
I'm not sure about Norse, but in the greek religion, you'll end up in the River Styxx after you die. In order to get across, you must pay the boatman 2 gold coins. I don't think you get across if your body doesn't have them.

Backing up my christian beliefs, yes I do believe in life after death.
On the other hand I still think Reincarnation is for people who have things left to do on earth.

I believe that something happens to you after death, but no one can tell us what it is. There is no way to find out where you go after death because no one that died can tell us what is on the other side.
