Hay:
How many of you watched the 2nd Ghost in the Shell movie? Did you like it ? Is there a dubbed version available out there? All I've found so far is the original Japanese with sub titles.
I know there are loads of folks that rather watch it that way. I guess I like mine dubbed. Subtitles are a lot of work.
Did any of you folks get to see a dubbed verson of Ghost 2?
I loved Stand Alone Complex and I wish they would do another. Did you get to see all of it on Adult Swim ?
Dose anyone have any suggestions for a follow up series that I can watch that is as good or nearly as good as Ghost Stand Alone Complex??

There is no dubbed version of GitS2:Innocence. Go Fish entertainment released it in theaters with the original Japanese dialogue, and they decided that they would keep it that way for the DVD release. I thought this was a great movie! The animation and plotline had me hooked. As for the GitS:SAC series, there is a second season due out on DVD in the US on September 27. I don't know if Adult Swim has shown all of the first season, but they probably have. If you like GitS, then I recommend The Animatrix, Blame!, and Akira. Those are relly great films too. _________________ [img:400:224:9a48d672c1]http://comalies.free.fr/images/ergoproxy.jpg[/img:9a48d672c1]

| I thought GITS: SAC was better than both of the movies. It just seemed like a more complete piece whereas the movies didn't really have enough time to fully develop into all they could have been. a4e has released the rest of Stand Alone Complex dual audio in case anyone hasn't seen the ending yet and wants to: the torrent is on Boxtorrents. |

I was disspointed with Innocence. I like the atmosphere of the 1995 film. It captured Motoko character better. At parts of the movie it was dream like. Innocence was flashy and at times it seem too wordly maybe it matches bateau better I guess. While the 1995 verison used visuals to capture the charaters mood. Innocence had the Characters quote long statements.
If dubbing would of been anything like they did for the first moviel you didnt miss much because it was horrible they turned motoko into a dumb blond in my opinion.
As for stand alone complex. I have to say for most part I hated the show it was boreing drawned out. Sure it had more charaters from the manga it also didn't have anything to do with the manga. I felt the Esps were perdictable the spycraft amatureish at best. The only 2 esps I can think of that I liked were the ones dealing with the tank Ai's. There were points I thought they wrote the characters to be stupid like Bateau going on a rescue mission where anyone in special ops would of thrown the guy on to the helicopper an taken off. He let the guy go off and get killed wtf? Thats when i decided the show was plain stupid. |

In response to Dark Angel16, there is a dubbed version of the first movie out in stores, actually there are two versions. There is a 1-disc version and a 2-disc version that has a bunch of goodies and a cool slipcase available from Manga Entertainment. I personally recommend the 2-disc version. I got my copy of it from Target for 23$. _________________ [img:400:224:9a48d672c1]http://comalies.free.fr/images/ergoproxy.jpg[/img:9a48d672c1]
