Do your parents like anime? Or do they totally detest it? My mom loves anime almost as much as I do. She's an otaku mom Very Happy

if she see me in front of the tv watching anime or whatever, she make me to turn if off...
well that is most of the time so....maybe she just pick on me umm...she never say anything when my sis was watching anime...ummm...

NO WAY, my adopted mom banned me from it cuz it made me happy and my real mom thinks its weird but ha ha my 5 year old lil bro loves it so shes stuck watchin it

Haha, when I was young, my Dad would watch DBZ with me and my brother back in Hong Kong... Now, my parents just laugh at us if we watch cartoons

Ahh parents... such funny creatures. Anyways my parents also thinks I watch cartoons (THEY KEEP THINKING IT'S RUGRATS OR SOMETHING) and laugh, so I think they don't care.

Once when I was watching Cowboy bebop, it showed blood and gunfiring. My Mom told me it was to violent for me. omg I'm 16 it's fine Rolling Eyes

my mom just sees it as cartoons, so she thinks its just a childish hobby that carried over from when i was younger.

dad on the otherhand actually sees some of the stuff i watch (mostly the ecchi ones for some reason...) and keeps dropping hints that i need to get a real girlfriend instead of watching them on my computer screen. Laughing

Haha. My mum doesn't really care. :3 She's pretty much come to terms with it, and she'll occasionally pick up a manga that I like for me on her way home from work. My mum can be pretty cool. She even sat through my explanation of Death Note...which took me like 20 minutes, because of all the plot twists and things.
My dad...doesnt really understand why I'm 19 and...well...watching cartoons. XD He calls it Japanimation. ;D

I watched One Piece and GTO with my mother. She really likes One Piece but she prefers GTO live action than anime.

They have accepted that I like watching it but no they don't like it at all neither do my sister... it's kind of strange acctually she says that if I were to be gay (For the record Im not, no idea why she brought it up in the first place) that it's ok with her but hell no that I can watch anime and read manga.
