Live Action

Just wondering, if anyone else watched any Live Action shows (No it's not live action porn or anything Rolling Eyes

)? Live action can be described as anime that are acted out by real people. For example, i read and watched GTO and saw the live action one for it. It was okay, but it was really odd because the main character looked totally different than in the anime/manga(different hair,etc).

Other live action I know of are Pokemon(lol) and sailormoon. What kind of Live action have you seen that was first an manga/anime? And any of them good?

sry i don't know of any live action except GTO..never saw it though....but there ws a live action of pokemon and sailormoon!!!?! wow that is just wayyy too weird..lol

Except GTO and Intial D, I don't think there are any other live action show (maybe I don't hear or read much).

yea tehre are a few, theres the devilman movie, dont ask me i've never seen the movie or heard of the anime, and then there's Casshern, which I saw a trailer for, and it looks awesome, it's based on an anime, but I've never heard of it.

There was also a boogiepop phantom movie, and there's an evangelion movie in the works, and that DBZ movie which was supposed to come out like a million years ago, but that's probably never gonna come out.

I love the sailor moon anime..but when I saw a little bit of the live action..well lets just say I was kinda disapointed..but I've only see clips of the GTO series..and well I heard Takashi Sorimachi was supposed to be a really good actor..he married his co-star on that show too..but I can't remember her name..

i have the GTO drama and the drama movie. Gokusen is a recommendation. H2 and Peach Girl are also based on anime/manga but i've only seen one ep for both series though.. and i believe there's You're Under Arrest live action

Casshern was a pretty good live action movie, although it contained a lot of CG, I thought that it was one of the best anime to live action movie produced in the past 4 years.

Devilman wasn't that great, the main character looked kind of weird during his human-devil form and it just bothered me...

Cute Honey was an alright movie, but I was a big fan of the anime series so the movie was a big let down.

I believe Initial D was one of the rare well done live-action shows out there. I think its also suitable since the anime was realistic. My friend has the movie of Initial D with real people, but I haven't seen it.
