i feel the worst for toujo aya. manaka never confessed his love for her. i also feel sorry for because she also tried her hardest with the confidence that she had, its just that no one noticed.

aya toujou... from what you guys have shared im a bit VERY disappointed.. i tot manaka n aya will be the one to be together in the end bec they are the ones being featured at 1st and the story started by them.. darn i very T_T sad for aya.... waaaaaaaaaaaa

It would have to be Satsuki. I wish that the mangaka would have given her more development with Manaka. It seems that he is trying to make Satsuki important but at the same time she has the least appearances out of the three girls. I think its pretty pointless to put in another character into the love triangle (Kozue is different because she wasn't really a love-interest for Manaka, but rather because Aya forced him to go out with her) when you aren't going to develop her completely and make her on par with the other girls. When Manaka went on that date with Kozue, I felt that Manaka liked her better than Satsuki. Kozue served only as fanservice and I feel that it is really pointless to add her in as well. Chinami seems hastily added in and then she did nothing for the rest of the chapters. It's funny because the scenes where I felt the most impact are the scenes with Satsuki confessing. Those were the only scenes I cried. This is because I knew from the point Manaka started dating Nashino for the second time, Satsuki didn't have a chance but she was pouring all her energy into it, perhaps more than the other two girls. I really wished there were more scenes with Satsuki. I could have cried even more.

I feel sorry for all 3 for having to put up with manaka's irresolute behaviour, but I feel the most sorrowful for Satsuki who was constantly a victim of an unrequited love (that sucks big time). Aya deserves some sympathy for the same reason tho hers was as a result of the same irresolution (ie sould have desided to confess long ago). I also feel sorry for the little sister of his perv friend who was left to fend for herself after the key members left (Did anyone notice what a babe she was at the end?).

Hmm... Toujo tied with Satsuki... I never really understand why Satsuki is so popular, that lots of people are feeling sorry for her...
