I've come to realization the I now suck at Guilty Gear and that I get pissed off quite alot if I lose in it. I can take lossing in other games but since my friend pretty much beat me senseless when I fought for the first time in a long time now I got seriously pissed. I really need to brush up on my GG skills and learn some new stuff.
Edit: Also bring the KOF talk to a KOF thread insteed
Also GGXX a little gift you could call it
C - Conan/Chinese/Canada/
G - Guang
Y - Yang

There is none of this kind though...
Well, that machine still hasn't been fixed yet... GGXX and I was playing there yesterday, and we have to figure out the controls first before playing...

I spent most of my break playing GG with different characters. I have had some good fun. I now use Jam, Baiken, Sol, Testament, Ky, and of course Dizzy. I spent a good few hours trying to get Jam's parry down, and I have gotten good enough to parry most moves. Overdrives wise I can parry Ky's, Tyrant Rave, Imperial Ray, Justice's Imperial Ray, Nightmare Circular, well just about all single hit Overdrives, some 2-5 hit overdrives. Anymore hits than that and I can only parry the first few hits. Still its really fun to do. My Jam combos have not improved too much. My only good RC combo is....
Forward+HS-->RC second hit-->S-->Land-->Jump-->S-->P-->S-->JC-->S-->HS-->Ryuujin--> Uppercut kick thingy-->Ryujin
EDIT : I forgot to mention that I switched GG mode off when I realized that all the good players I have seen play with it off. I didnt really effect my game too much, in fact I found lots of more useful stuff without it lol. _________________ Miku Miku!!

Yeah well from the best of my knowlage they don't use any of the diffrent modes in tournaments. I've also seen a combo from Eddie now that well just kills you if your near the corner. Hits you with a high low attack and then unsummon or something and does a air combo until the eddie gauge fills up and then restart so you don't get a chance. Sounds pretty good and solid way of killing of the characters but since it just sounds so cheap like Slayers bite loop before reload came I just refuse to accept that it's possible and that you can indeed somehow get out of it.
Also decided to try and get better with Anji pretty fun playing around with him but I still haven't found any real good combos, I've done some ok stuff with him involving hits I can't even remember because I was trying to do his 623 hs I think, I really suck at the uppercut input. Also been thinking about Ino her style is kind of fun but I have a hard time with her.
Hell just managing to time down one of Jams parrys is pretty impressive if you ask.
Ohh did you know that Kliff can evade two of Venoms dark angel balls in a row without jumping or blocking? That's just crazy

Anji takes patience to use well, and its something I dont want to learn actually. I can use him if I have to, but I would rather not. I cant use Ino either. I dont like that she only has an air dash. I dash a lot, and it always screws me over with her. Bleh.
As far as the parries go, thanks. It was damn hard. Mostly because the timing is so incredibly strict. Like for Ky's Sacred Edge you have to do it EXACTly when it hits you, or the last hit will go through and hurt you. The timing is insane. I still mess it up sometimes.

No actually I didnt. Who does that happen?
Today I played a decent GG player. He is also the guy who is very hard to fight in SC III. At first he was sucking because he was getting used to the controller, but after a while he caught on quickly. Granted I have had a harder time with some other fighters, but the most impressive thing was his Potemkin. Holy crap I have never seen a Potemkin do that much damage or move that quickly before. He used lots of cancels, and even used a FRC combo on me for good damage. I was impressed at how good he was a FRC attacks. He is almost as good as me. Well actually Im giving him WAY to much credit. When I played seriously with Dizzy I totally annihilated him to the point of getting a perfect. But if I used Jam or Baiken I had to try and sometimes he won. Overall it was a good day for GG. _________________ Miku Miku!!

My favorite characters are Jam Kudaberi, Baiken, the surgeon guy with giant scalpel and bag on his face (is this the right GG version?), and maybe Sol Badguy and the giant guy.
However I do best with Baiken and Millia Rage. I can't even attempt any other characters. Wish I could play with Jam though, since she's so Chun-Li-ish.

Jam is one of the easiest character to use. If you trace back a few pages, you'll see that we list quite a lot combo with her.

Yes that is damn easy. If you want more damage and a harder combo you can do......
S-->S-->HS (2 hits)-->Sweep-->Rushing Super
I mess it up sometimes so it takes practice. _________________ Miku Miku!!

Thank you eisenmeteor, now i finally discovered the mystery of the letter C.
Anyways, i don't know much about Jam but if you FRC and RC you can do some amazing damage without any super. Remember seeing a video, forgot where. I'll try to make some combos to post after.
CGY, i can teach you Slayer but for a price I can teach you the basics of Testament and Baiken for free. Slayer is not free because I don't want you to know my moves and stuff.

Slayers nothing but a cheap bastard then again I just don't like him that much. A few good things to learn with Slayer for one is learning the full use of his dash, you can back dash and then jump cancel out his dash into diffrent moves like his mappa punch or bite etc. What this means is he can turn invincible for a sec and attack, so if someone sends a projectile at you, you can just see it go straight through you without touching you. Not only that you can also backdash cancel into a air throw even if the opponent is standing. It looks dam stupid on second he's standing there on the ground next he's holding you up in the air throwing you Anyway it's backdash jump cancel fowrad press back and then highslash. Also good to use the backdash cancel when your getting up that way wakeup games won't work as well as the attack will just go straight through you. Another good thing to learn would be the biteloop if your playing Guilty Gear XX and not Guilty Gear XX#Reload then learning biteloop is worth gold. You can start up the Slayers bite since the opponent will be stunned for a second after you bite you can dash forward and bite again then repeat untill the opponent is dead without him being able to do anything, not even burst. Well there is someway your supposed to be able to get out of it but I don't know how. His pile bunker is also a good idea to use, not only does it do hugh damade it gives good amount of tension plus if it's a counter hit the opponent will wall bounce which makes a perfect setup for a air combo a few punch, kick, punch, kick, air dust to highslash is kind of basic. Forward Highslash into pilebunker is also good, forward highslash can also hit opponents that are trying to jump over you. Also Slayers forward punch I think there's a frame there when he's invicible so if they attack you while your doing it you'll just counter hit them, it's the one when he attacks with his shoulder. You can also FRC it into a few combos. Remember to block and to use high low tactics as well. Also Slayer has an unblockable attack so it might be good to throw it in once inawhile when they're laying on the floor. Just pointers no real combos.
Im not sure but I think Jam has a few one frame hits or something don't remember.

Uh...... yeah. Totally. I really really really really dont like slayer so I never took the time to use him or to learn ANYTHING with him minus the biteloop. Me no likey.
Well I lent out my GGXX and Isuka to one of my friends so I wont be playing it for a while. Oh well. I have plenty of stuff to keep me occupied.
I did learn that Potemkins throw range is so insane that its almost no fair. Its crap basically. He can get you from an entire body length away. Nonsense I say. _________________ Miku Miku!!
