GGXX-->Some of those combos are strange to me because as far as I know in GGXX Sol has no HCF+K attack. (41236=Half Circle Forward or HCF). I tried them out, and in XX only a few of them work. Thanks for the tips anyways though. Do you know any good Fafnir FRC combos? (Fafnir=HCF+HS, or for you its 41236+HS) I cant really make one with decent damage. I am also amazed at Tyrant Rave's invincibility period. Its quite good for wake up games and rushing in on somebody. I am sorry to see that Dragon Install is practically useless against a good player though.

Im taking a small break with Sol for now. Im still using him, but Im starting to focus more on Testament now. I trained with him for a good 3 hours learning good stuff to do, and damn I find him to be a great character. I even managed to make some good damaging combos, all around 160+ damage, which is great for Testament. His throw in a corner gives you the opportunity for TREMENDOUS damage for a basic throw. The best one I came up with for a throw combo was.....

Throw Into a Corner-->S-->HS-->Grave Digger-->wait for them to bounce off wall and in front you-->S-->HS-->Jump Cancel-->S--->JC-->S-->Grave Digger

130+ damage just from a throw. When an opponent hits the wall from a Grave Digger you have a huge time frame to follow up that assault with another combo. That wall bounce makes their recovery time plummett down to at least 3 seconds, which is plenty of time for another combo.

I like Testament.

Hmmmm. It sounds like CGY might make an interesting opponent in SVC. One of these days I am going to have to beat him. lol

Sorry i meant 236+ hold k. im just use to typing 41236 because its so fun lol. any ways, I don't think Fafnir is good for combos, i can't really do much with it. Its good for the end i guess but never in the beginning. Heres one but i am not sure if it works.

Yeah i like his tyrant rave. Invisibility, comboable, and air combo continuation. this is why "2HS, jump, desired air combo" is the best. Too bad i can't do dust loop, don't even want to learn. They took it away in Slash, o well, its time for true sol badguy skills only.

Regular grab facing corner, K, 2HS, jump, desired air combo

yeah, that's all i can tell you for now. Anyways i don't like Testament that much. He's fun to fool around with but I can't do big damage with him. Yeah, his grab is good but if you have reloaded, you should see the difference for him. He got even better. But poor Johnny . I lost a character because they made him weaker. I will avenge you with Sol, Dizzy and Slayer lol.

Whoever says Guilty Gear is a button masher, learn to play the game and face real good people. Then you will see the difference in enjoyment.

I will have to try those combos out later. They may not work because of Reload, but we shall see.

I made a VERY damaging combo for Testament yesterday. It does almost as much as my stongest combo with Dizzy.

(Mid Screen or near wall) S-->S-->Down+S-->HS-->Grave Digger-->RC-->Dust-->Grave Digger-->S-->HS-->JC-->S-->HS-->JC-->D-->Grave Digger.

On Sol it did a good 220+Damage. And its inescapable. Minus a burst of course.........

I will try that combo out later. recently i went to this arcade in a mall, (pacific mall) and i saw so many crazy reloaded players, with zappa, johnny and may. THEY ARE SO IMPRESSIVE. I need to practice to be like those guys, must learn FRC starting tomoroow, when i get home from school.

I told you Johnny can kick some serious ass if used well. May too, as well as Zappa, however I only know how to use May, and even then its not that good. Against fast characters like Chipp May is hard to use well. Anyways I havnt played in a while. Since the last time I posted here. I have worked and when I get home its homework time.

I did play KOF though today. It was pretty cool, but some of the characters are really really really really stupid. Its like they just didnt care at all and just threw somebody together. None of the main characters like Kyo and Iori, but some of the random ones are fairly cheesy.

yeah, i have to admit some of the kof characters are cheesy (lol what a funny word). you have to admit that too CGY.

TrueAncestor, about that Johnny player you faced. By anychance, was he an oriental male, about 5'6", wears glasses and probably has a small moustache. if so i think the Johnny guy you faced was the same guy i faced. he was really crazy, with all of these combos, pressuring and grabs.

Nah my johnny player was good, but not good enough to beat me. That strategy you were describing sounded solid, like a master strategy like mine. Actually mine is simlair, sort of not really. Cheesy. Good word right there. I did play SOME today, but I was teaching some dudes how to play so I was not playing for reals.

I got so excited right now because I saw GGXXX and release date but it was something else..... Bull crap.

TrueAncestor: I read all of those comics. Some of them are funny, but lately, there are barely updates and i feel there is a decline in the quality in his work (jokes, not art/drawing/whatever). I would get excited too if GGXXX was coming out, i am still waiting for it. I would probably get GGXX Slash, gotta keep me busy with Order Sol and ABA
